OTH is (supposed to be... not sure after this season) about 2 half brothers dealing with the fact that they share a father and now have to come together in their love for basketball, a love that is inherited from the afore-said father. If they get rid of the father, what's the point of their being a show? Some people would say that the show would be fine if Dan were to die, but it wouldn't be the same. There are only a few things about the show that I still really enjoy. Haley, the Scott Bros relationship (in season 1, not the insta-best buddies that they were in season 2), the basketball, and Dan. I would enjoy a season 1 re-visit, where Dan didn't seem too cartoon-ish. You know that scene at the end of TLY when he gave Nathan that half-hug and he had tears in his eyes? I :love: that scene.
