ONCE UPON A TIME IN A KINGDOM FAR, FAR AWAY THERE WAS EVIL KING. THE KING HAD TWO SONS, LUCAS AND NATHAN SCOTT. NATHAN SCOTT WAS RAISED WITH MONEY, WHILE LUCAS HAD TO WORK FOR THEM. IN THE END LUCAS FRIEND HALEY CHANGED NATHAN TO THE MAN HE IS TODAY. BUT THERE WAS A GIRL, A GIRL THAT WAS SO ALIKE NATHAN SCOTT. BROOKE DAVIS WAS THE GIRL VERSION OF NATHAN SCOTT, BUT SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE OTHER PRINCE LUCAS SCOTT. LUCAS SCOTT WAS A GOOD BOY WITH A GOOD HEART BUT EVEN HE MADE MISTAKES, HE CHEATED ON HIS FUTURE PRINCESS WITH HER BEST FRIEND PEYTON SAWYER.
BUT IF WE COULD RE-WRITE THE STORY, NATHAN SCOTT WOULD NEVER HAVE MARRIED HALEY JAMES. YOU SEE NATHAN AND BROOKE HAVE THE SAME HISTORY, THE SAME HEARTS AND PEOPLE HURT THEM THE SAME. THE WORLD CAN’T FORGET WHO THEY USED TO BE, AND NEITHER CAN HALEY AND THE REST, SO NATHAN AND BROOKE HAVE TO BECOME THE PERSONS THEY KNOW THEY CAN BE.
BROOKE AND NATHAN HAVE GROWN SO MUCH UNDER THE PAST YEARS; THEY HAVE BECOME THE PERSONS THAT THEY WANT TO BE. AND IN THE END THAT’S ALL THAT M A T T E R S. THE FANS ARE READY, THE CHEMISTRY IS THERE AND THE WORLD IS WAITING.
CELEBRATING 175 THREADS OF BROOKE & NATHAN

The Bitter Taste by: Abbay99
“She has a hit single “Because of You”, and a number one album,” Carson Daly announced, “Welcome to the show everyone, Brooke Davis!”
The fans yelled and cheered, some of them even cried as Brooke walked from behind the curtain and to the stage. She smiled to all of them and waved; she walked up to Carson and gave him a hug,
“Hi!” She said enthusiastically into the microphone.
“It’s good to have you here,” Carson said.
Brooke smiled, “It’s good to be here!”
“You are a very cheery person,” Carson said, which got a few laughs from the audience.
Brooke laughed along as well, “I was a cheerleader in high school,” she said.
“Where did you go to high school?” Carson asked.
Brooke cleared her throat, “I went to Tree Hill high.”
“Tree Hill?” Carson questioned.
“North Carolina,” Brooke said, “I was the captain of the Ravens’ cheerleading squad.”
The guys all whooped and cheered and Brooke smiled sweetly at them all, “You in a cheerleading outfit is definitely a great image for these guys,” Carson teased,
“We just saw your music video and the concept seems kind of different to me,” he began, “It’s you, and a guy, and another girl…”
“Yes,” Brooke said, “The concept is about how this guy and I are totally in love, and then his ex sort of comes back to town and ruins everything for us,” she explained,
“So it’s saying that because of this guy I can’t go out and be who I want to be, because without him I’m nothing.”
The audience awed and cheered as Carson smiled, “It sounds like you know a lot about having your heart broken…”
”What girl doesn’t?” Brooke asked with a shrug.
The girls in the audience applauded, “So your saying you’ve had your heart broken before?”
Brooke froze and looked down at the ground, she was on national television. She didn’t want to seem like a prude, but she didn’t want to break down in cry in front of everyone. Brooke looked back up at Carson and gave him a fake smile, “I’ve had my heart lightly damage,” she lied.
Brooke walked out of her suite and out into the parking lot. How could she have put everything she had been through behind her? The concept from the music video was from the heart, and so was the song.
She wrote the song the night on the bus when she left; it was about Nathan, whether she wanted to admit it or not. It was like she just wanted to pretend like everything in her life had never happened. read more
Worst Summer, Best Summer by: l-a-c-18
Brooke sat on her isle seat and wiped away a single tear that spilled out. There would be no more crying. She was about to spend the summer in freaking California.
People would kill for vacations like this. There was no time to be sad.
She said a quick hello to the person sitting next to her before leaning back and closing her eyes. She quickly opened them when she heard someone call out her name.
"Brooke? Is that you?"asked Nathan.
Brooke put on her famous Brooke Davis smile."It sure is handsome. What are you doing on my plane to California?"
"Yes, because this is your plane."he laughed."I'm going to High Fliers this summer. It's held in L.A."
"Well lucky you. You get to continue to be in the same city as me."
Nathan rolled his eyes."Yeah, I guess I am."he was pushed aside by a angry woman who was trying to get to her seat, but he was in her way.
He gave the lady an ugly look before turning back to Brooke."I guess I should go find my seat."
Brooke nodded.
"Excuse me young man, what seat do you have?"asked the elderly lady sitting next to Brooke.
Nathan looked at her for a second wondering why she wanted to know, but looked down at his ticket anyways."Uh, 23A. Why?"
"Well this young lady came on here looking rather down, but the second she saw you she perked right up. I could take your seat if you want to sit with your friend."
Nathan looked to Brooke who nodded.
"Yeah, okay. Thank you."
Brooke stood up as the woman grabbed her carry on bag. Nathan helped her to her new seat. When he got back he saw that Brooke had switched for the window seat.
"Hey, that's my seat."
"No, actually your seat is 23A, just like your jersey number. How cool is that? Did you specifically ask for that seat?"
Nathan rolled his eyes."No, I didn't. It was just a coincidence."
"Sure it was."laughed Brooke. read more
My Favorite Mistake by: aspdstra
She pushed him lightly and let her eyes wander before she spoke again. “Where’s Haley?”
Brooke felt bad for asking once she saw Nathan involuntarily tense up at her question, but he answered anyway. “Probably doing something musical with Chris.”
He’d tried to keep the bitterness out of his voice, but it hadn’t worked, and she picked up on it, bright girl that she was. “Guessing that strikes a couple chords with you, huh? Pardon the pun…”
Silently, he walked over to the mended picture collage everyone had made for their wedding celebration…if only they hadn’t been so naïve…
“If you consider me wanting to bash the guy’s face in every time I hear his name striking chords, then yeah…there’s a lot of that goin’ on.”
Brooke wasn’t blind; she knew what Nathan was saying, and she knew he probably had a good reason to say it. But still, she couldn’t help trying to smooth things over.
“Nate, I’m sure it’s nothing, really…Haley loves you, and I don’t think she would ever jeopardize that…especially with all the stuff you guys have gone through already just to be together.”
“Yeah…stuff…like her kissing another guy and trying to lie to me about it.”
“Nathan, that was almost a year ago –”
“Doesn’t change the fact that it happened, now does it?
Her throat caught at his sharp words, but she knew he wasn’t really angry with her. “No…but part of your relationship is about forgiveness…
I mean, I think Haley’s done enough penance for the tour thing, don’t you?”
The comment stoked a fire behind Nathan’s eyes. “She walked out on us…on me. I’m not gonna just put on a happy face and forget about it.”
“You took her back.”
Well…yeah, she was right. He did. He’d made the decision to overlook all the drama from the past and make their marriage work.
But then something else came to mind that darkened his already murky expression.
“Yeah, a lot of good that did…she still hangs out with the bastard. And I let her. What does that make me?”
Brooke managed a morose grin. “An optimist, maybe?”
“Or an invertebrate dumbass…whichever.” read more
9th Crime "is that alright with you?" by: takecareofyourself
“Nathan don’t, please.” She somehow said and took away his hand, he didn’t stop. Turned her towards him and kissed her, the Sunday storm broke down.
She forgot how beautiful he tasted, the kiss seemed to last forever and it’s that moment when Brooke realized that they had a past.
Flash back.
He opened the door, she smiled at him finally they would be together with no secrets. Tried to kiss him but he rejected. The look in his eyes scared her it wasn’t a look of happiness.
“Brooke I have something to tell you.” He said with a destroyed voice, “What’s wrong baby, talk to me.” She told him and sat next to him, “Haley’s pregnant, Brooke she’s pregnant.” He said in tears, Brooke held hers.
“I don’t know what to say, what do you want me to say?” She asked him shocked, destroyed, beautifully broken. “Say that you want me to stay with you.” He responded looked at her,
“I can’t Nate, I’m sorry but I can’t. You are having a child and I’m not making you like Dan.” She answered him, “You’re right I’m not Dan, I will not let this kid down.” He realized, stood up, looked in her eyes,
“Then I guess this is goodbye.” She tried to stay calm but her heart was broken, “I guess it is.” He said, kissed her for the last time and walked out from the door.
And there she stood broken, broke down in tears cried like a child. Fell down on the floor, screamed at the door “Don’t go Nathan I need you, I want you stay here with me, I love you.”
Put her hands on her stomach and slowly whispered “I’m pregnant too.”
End of flash back.
Brooke slapped him; she couldn’t go through it all over again.
“That hurt.” Nathan pointed out, “Well you deserved it, and you have no right to kiss me.” Brooke cleared out things for him, “You had no problems before with it.” He teased,
“Nathan we are both adults now with kids, and I’m in love with Chris.” Brooke responded,
“Right Chris, why do you fool yourself?” He asked her and just about when Brooke was about to tell him something mean, Josh came. read more
1.05 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
NATHAN: Brooke!
NATHAN: Hey. Have you heard from Peyton?
BROOKE: Not since you two broke up and she went psycho on me in practice. Why?
NATHAN: Because she’s not in school. And she won’t pick up at home or on her cell.
BROOKE: Well… maybe she’s out kicking the homeless.
1.07 – Life In A Glass House
Brooke: How are you, Nate?
Nathan: Bored.
Brooke: And lonely, right? Just a smidge.
Nathan: Brooke, whatever drugs you’re on, save them for the party, okay?
Brooke: Ah, "the party." Guess who’s coming with me, and I’ll tell you Peyton.
Nathan: Whatever. She’s off my radar, and apparently, I’m off hers too.
Brooke: That was pot Peyton. She’s totally back on track.
And I think the new "old Peyton" would be open to discussing reconciliation.
Nathan: Did she tell you that?
Brooke: She tells me everything.
Nathan: What are you up to, Brooke?
Brooke: What? I just want to see two people that are perfect for each other back together.
Is that a crime?
Nathan: Why are you being such a @#%$ tonight, Brooke?
Brooke: Well, I thought you liked that in a girl.
Nathan: You should put some ice on it.
1.08 - The Search for Something More
NATHAN: What do you want, Brooke?
BROOKE: To apologize. For what I did to you. You and Haley.
NATHAN: You’re apologizing?
BROOKE: Yeah, I know. Kinda weird, right? But I’m trying to appease the gods so… I’m sorry.
NATHAN: Whatever. … for drunken high school girls sick, so…
BROOKE: Okay, I totally had that coming. I want you to know I’m going to fix it.
Get you and Haley back on track.
NATHAN: Not gonna happen. She made that pretty clear this morning.
BROOKE: Leave it to me. What do you want to do on your date?
NATHAN: What date?
BROOKE: Never mind. No time to waste. I’ll call you later with details.
2.06: WE MIGHT AS WELL BE STRANGERS
BROOKE: How do you do it?
NATHAN: Do what?
BROOKE: You gave up your family’s money to be poor Nate.
NATHAN: You know what they say Brooke; money can’t buy love.
BROOKE: Maybe so. My mom sure had a good run; renting it for a while. Excuse me.
2.10: DON’T TAKE ME FOR GRANTED
BROOKE: Ew, you two realize you’re related right?
NATHAN: Hi Brooke.
BROOKE: Double ew if Tutor Wife is here.
LUCAS: She’s not. What’s up?
BROOKE: Um… my car is now out of commission,
thanks to my jealous, spiteful stain of neighbor…
and I was sort of thinking… that…
you might wanna walk to school together.
Unless of course, you’re waiting for your ‘Boytoy’ here.
NATHAN: Go ahead. I’ll catch up with you guys later.
2.15: UNOPENED LETTER TO THE WORLD
BROOKE: Nate, thank you for coming.
NATHAN: Whatever, I just ran out of alcohol.
2.20: LIFETIME PILING UP
BROOKE: So I guess the rumors are true; Mr. Size 14.
NATHAN: Wh-a! Uh,… I think… you’re in the wrong locker room.
BROOKE: Well,… the… sign says ‘Boys’… doesn’t it?
NATHAN: Ohhhhkayyy, Whoa!
BROOKE: Oops!
BROOKE: I’m Brooke; but I bet you already knew that.
NATHAN: Yeah, I-I gotta go!
NATHAN:I know you both want me.
BROOKE: Yeah! In your dreams!
2.21: WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN
BROOKE: Here.
BROOKE: What’s wrong with you?
NATHAN: …Nothing, nothing, uh,…
I just… you were in this… weird dream I had during surgery.
BROOKE: Yeah? And?
NATHAN: And, uh, we were… kind of… showering together.
BROOKE: Don’t be embarrassed, everybody has that dream about me!
3.04 - AN ATTEMPT TO TIP THE SCALES
BROOKE: Well, you’re gonna make my job easy this year;
nothing worse than cheering for a bunch of losers.
NATHAN: Well, it’s all about you, Brooke.
NATHAN: What’s up?
BROOKE: Are you going to this masquerade party at TRIC?
NATHAN: I wasn’t planning on it, why?
BROOKE: Just figured it might be the perfect occasion to stop punishing your wife.
BROOKE: Haley’s really hurting, Nathan. I mean, come on,
how hard would it be to stop by and smile at her and tell her she looks cute?
NATHAN: Harder than you think.
BROOKE: Well, she hasn’t written a song since you guys split up.
BROOKE: Guess her talent was tied to you; no Nathan, no music.
NATHAN: She put you up to this?
BROOKE: No… but if I here one more accidental cover of
‘Wind Beneath My Wings’, I am going to slit my wrists!
So please Nathan, do it for me.
BROOKE Besides, you might get through with her.
She’s gonna look hot as hell. You can trust me, I’m the Devil.
NATHAN: I’ll think about it.
BROOKE: K.
3.07 - CHAMPAGNE FOR MY REAL FRIENDS, REAL PAIN FOR MY SHAM FRIENDS
BROOKE: OK, two-part question,
NATE: A. why the hell haven’t you beaten the stuffing out of Chris Keller yet,
so I can go home,
and B. if you were just gonna ignore Haley all night, why did you come?
BROOKE: Haley still loves you. All you have to do is take her back!
NATHAN: Right, kinda like with you and Lucas.
NATHAN: You see, it’s not so easy,
getting back in the ring; especially with the one that knocked you out in
the first place.
3.11 - RETURN OF THE FUTURE
BROOKE: What’re you doing?
NATHAN: Oh, I was just…
NATHAN: looking for band aids.
BROOKE: Well, buddy, you found my birth control patches.
Those… fix a whole other problem.
BROOKE: Next cabinet.
3.17 - WHO WILL SURVIVE, AND WHAT WILL BE LEFT OF THEM
BROOKE: No. It’s always been your place. Both of yours.
I was just keeping it warm till you came to your senses.
NATHAN: Thank you Brooke.
HALEY: Thanks.
NATHAN: How’s Lucas doing?
BROOKE: I don’t know. He left.
I’m just trying to give him his space but it’s hard, ya know?
4.14 SAD SONGS FOR DIRTY LOVERS
NATHAN: Where's the new boyfriend?
BROOKE: Taking a break. When all you do is kiss,
you got to come up for air once in a while.
NATHAN: Skills broke out the old Ravens' game footage.
I swear, when I watch it, it doesn't even feel like me.
BROOKE: I should hope not. You were such a jerk!
You were dating Peyton, and you guys fought all the time.
NATHAN: Hey, look who's talking.
Are you ever going to let Peyton off the mat?
BROOKE: Yeah. I guess it's about time, isn't it?
4.15 - PROM NIGHT AT HATER HIGH
NATHAN: Anyway, I guess... I'm sorry.
BROOKE: Me too.I guess that when you get drunk
and have sex at a party you do have to deal with it eventually
BROOKE: So it really did happen.
I was kind of pretending it was just a bad dream.
NATHAN: It happened.
BROOKE: 'Cause it was easier for you to remember it!
You had a tape you could watch over and over and over again!
NATHAN: I've never watched that tape, Brooke.
I didn’t even know it was still around. I just destroyed it this morning.
BROOKE: Great. That’s going to help everyone un-see it.
NATHAN: I know. I'm sorry.
BROOKE: It's not all your fault Nate.
I mean, my memory about that night is misty
at best but I'm pretty positive you didn't have a gun to my head.
NATHAN: I know it was only two years ago but it just feels like a different life time.
BROOKE: Hey, I know exactly how you feel!
I'm not proud of who I used to be either... God. How's Haley?
NATHAN: I spent the night apologizing to her bedroom door.
And when she finally did come out she just told me she had to decorate for prom.
Why aren't you there?
BROOKE: Because Haley is there and Peyton is there.
And I'm going to avoid seeing them until the latest possible second.
NATHAN: I need to go back to my rounds.
I have got a lot of apologies to do today.
6X03
B: “Who is it?”
N: “Nathan.”
B: “Hi, Nate. Come in. It’s a tough day, huh?”
N: “Yeah.”
B: “I wish there was something I could do for you or Haley or Jamie.”
N: “Well, actually we were wondering if there’s anything we could do for you.”
B: “How do you mean? Why me?”
N: “We know that your mom has been pulling some stuff with the company, and I don’t know,
I guess having dealt with parent insanity I wanted to check your head. See how you’re doing.”
B: “I’m fine. Really.”
N: “That sounds like something I would say. Look, this thing with losing Quentin, it-it’s hard.
And I have a feeling its gonna be a pretty prominent thing in our lives for a while,
but that doesn’t mean that your problems are any less important, that all of us aren’t here for you.”
B: “Look, like I said-”
N: “You’re fine. You can handle it. Its all good. [exhales] Look, I hope that’s true and maybe it is but the thing is,
the two of us have been down very similar roads.
We were in the same cliques first, we both felt the same pressures, the same expectations.
Our parents were like children and we both grew into kind of bad versions of ourselves way too fast.
So I think you know I get it.”
B: “They never really gave us a chance, did they? Our parents.”
N: “They didn’t know how. Look, the thing is, you made your dream happen, alright?
And even though I didn’t quite get there, when it was taken away from me I dealt with it alone.
That was stupid, selfish, and wrong.
So if your mom tries to take your dream away from you and you feel the same pain I did, I’ve sorta been there, okay?
And I’m gonna be kind of pissed off if you don’t come talk to me about it.
Anyway, thank you for coming today. It means a lot.
I know you didn’t know Quentin,
but it doesn’t surprise me that you’re thinking of other people when all this stuff is going on with you.
That’s not bad for a girl who never had a chance. Come here.”
