Yup I found the interivew I remembered! Of Joe saying that the story was going to be for Brooke and Owen to end up together.

I mean if you watch season 5/early season 6, that's what CLEARLY happened but probably something went wrong behind the scenes? because the Millicent stuff literally came out of thin air......

Actually this interview is worst than I remembered because they FILMED A SCENE WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER???
WHY did they change it?

I do remember reading that interview an while ago and it makes me wonder what changed behind the scenes.

^ I agree... and I think it's probably why I never really warmed up with Julian/Brooke because I didn't feel we got any real closure with Davis/Owen.

And I really was on and off watching Tree Hill at the time so I didn't get to see the whole Brooke/Julian thing... probably if I watched it now, I'd like it more but I'd probably have to skip season 5.

Because seeing Brooke/Owen scenes would just drive me mad. lol

I probably would have had that issue if we saw more of Brooke/Owen.

There was definitely no Brooke/Owen closure. The ending was abrupt.

The chemistry definitely an lot different to what it was in Season 5, that's for sure.

I feel like when he came back, they tried to hard to capture what was going on before he left and so much had happened in Brooke's life that Owen just didn't fit.
