I stopped watching after S6. I did watch some of S7 though and I did like Clay and Quinn.

I was fine with Quinn for the most part, but Clay was awful, and he dragged Quinn down.

After he almost destroyed Nathan's career, Nathan was understandably annoyed, for some reason unknown to anyone capable of logic, Quinn thought Haley and Nathan were completely out of line to be annoyed about it...

Nathan's contract was up and Clay kept holding out for more money, from what I remember. As a result, the team signed another player, so Nathan essentially lost his job.
