^ I can understand that. Even if it didn't work out with Lucas, he wanted her to find out for herself and don't just settle in with him even if she did love him.

Yeah, he knew that with him & Jenny, Peyton would miss out on some parts of being a normal young adult & he wanted her to have that... & hoped that she would come back to him someday
