definitely, & I love that the writers didn't push them as an 'epic' 'meant to be' couple or anything like that & just let them play out naturally without any of that nonsense.

It is so hard to say what could have happened but I think if Jake was still around it would only complicate the love triangle more and postpone Lucas and Peyton getting together.

If CS stayed together then yea, I can definitely see Mark not sticking to his oryginal plan. Not that he would want to but I can see the network demanding it... heee, it would be awesome.

hmm, I'm not sure the network cared either way about the BL/LP/JP square. I think that's because the fanbases were pretty even, if they weren't, then maybe the network would have cared, but I really don't think Mark got pressured either way about any of the ships on OTH.

I always thought that during first three, maybe even four years, there was a lot more BLers than LPers?

Either way, the first thing we would need to JP to last is having both actors being on the show permanently. Which never happened.
