In the subject of Rachel... she's a character I didn't love or hate however I grew tired of her when it was revealed that she released the time capsule.

That wasn't an nice thing to do, but I think anyone would have set Jimmy off at that point imo.

I think the time capsule sped it up.... that was the event that for SURE set everything in motion because people now knew for sure how Jimmy felt about them and the school had to get shut down... that was a terrible day for Tree Hill High...
That video tape made the bullying 1000x worst since the whole school pretty much hated him after that besides his old friends of course.

That's true, but it would have happened regardless of the time capsule coming out

I think it was pretty clear that yes Jimmy was hiding a lot of pain inside but the time capsule made matters worst.

I'm sure there was something else that would have set him off before the end of the year.

I guess for me, I am going by what I saw on screen and what seemed to be written in the script...

What I saw on screen was that the time capsule got released, Tree Hill School was forced to close school and the next day a school shooting.

And of course Rachel guilt from unintentionally being the cause of it and Mouth hating Rachel after finding out what she did...

Seems all in line to me.

Who knows, probably without the time capsule thing, he could've escaped high school... very depressed but he probably could've escaped. Some depressed people who are bullied commit suicide or just SURVIVE high school talking about how bad it was.

With this whole Jimmy Edwards thing, the thing I apprecaited was that it was a character who was in like the first 3 episodes of the series in season 1 and than he just disappeared... I never thought much about it.... so that's why it was an awesome storyline to circle back to during season 3.

I feel that it was Jimmy Edwards and everyone's else fault.....
Only because what the heck happened with Jimmy and Mouth? You guys just stopped talking after being best friends and calling games together out in the park?

I LOVED Lucas telling Jimmy this in 3x15;

I feel the blame was on everyone because no one obviously cared enough to check on Jimmy and Jimmy never called any of his friends? So I would have liked to see how their friendship became distant like it did.

Who knows, probably Mouth would have been like Jimmy if he didn't join with the popular clique and remained friends with Lucas. He never got the hottest girl or anything as he would have preferred to but he stayed around the popular clique.
