I need more as well, but every pairing starts somewhere. Of course for me to hardcore ship someone. I need more, EVENTUALLY! but every pairing has a starting point.

I am not going to ship something because a guy or a girl was pinning for someone for 15+ years.
It depends on how it's done I guess.

I basically need to feel it and see it developed. That's why I can never really get into couples that are insta love but usually love couples that are obvious endgame from the start but take a while to get together.

And I'm opposite... I can't be TOLD who to ship... I need to see and feel that connection on my own, whether it's in the first episode or 20 episodes in.

Although there has been many times where I have been okay with loving the endgame pairing. About 40% of the time.

But not everytime for me...

And that's okay, we can all have our different ways of shipping pairings.

Most of the time though, the non-endgame games don't have great connections so and that's why they don't last. The only couple I know that contradicts that theory is Barney/Robin from How I Met Your Mother.

I loved JP and BL in season 2. I am not the biggest LP fan after rewatching many times.

Eh, I personally thought that BL/JP were one of the worst parts of this season and it would have been better off without them.

They definitely weren't great. I think JP had so much potential as a friendship but tptb killed it when they tried to force a romance that just wasn't there.

In agreement... although I prefer BL as friends in season 2 and season 5 over than when they were in a actual relationship. Although in the first few episodes of season 3, I loved the relationship.

Their friendship could have been great and it sucks they ruined in order to justify another couple.

Yep, it's insulting, tbh. Pretty common for writers to insist on destroying a perfectly good friendship for a romance that just won't work because the chemistry just isn't there.
