The writers barely focused on it at all after the first few episodes, so they definitely didn't focus on it enough imo.

Would have preferred for their drama to get more focus than some other storylines (the love triangle comes to mind especially).

I'd prefer neither. Drama between the two of them got old pretty fast, too.

It wouldn't have if they kept giving them drama, though. Only way to continue giving them that kind of drama was to not progress them, tbh.

Definitely, they could have had Whitey force them to work on their basketball together and that could have lead to them getting along an bit better.
