^ I wonder that too, S3 is awesome.

I wish wrters wouldn't skip over college years too but my main problem with "adult" seasons is not that characters were out of school and finding jobs and having careers... it's just that they were still 22 years old at the beginning of S5 but they all acted like they were in their forties?!?!? WTF? That was my problem.

That wasn't even my issue, my issue was that they were basically all celebrities/on their way to becoming celebrities.

hahaha I definitely didn't see them as acting like they were in their forties but I definitely did forget how old they actually were in OTH time. When season 5 was airing even though I knew how many years had passed from season 4 to 5 I completely blanked until Haley had mentioned that they were 22.

They actually seriously messed up the college timings. I vaguely recall them saying they were 21, but Haley had Jamie at 18 and he was 4. They probably corrected it eventually but it bothered me so much because it's just basic timings.

Maybe they were still 21 at one point because of birthdays, not sure. I know, I tried so hard to keep track of OTH time, but it got more difficult after awhile.

It wouldn't work if they were still 21 as they had graduated college and were all 18 when they graduated HS. If they were 21 only three years would have passed.

True. I think we can all agree that the OTH timeline never made sense. Though I still always tried to figure it out. It did make my head spin while doing that sometimes
