Honestly, it made them into the couple that I adore and love so much so I don't mind at all. In the beginning, it took me for a shock but they had one of the most epic romances of all times. And I'm glad once they realized they were it for each other, there weren't any more people in the picture. It makes them special.

I mean the writers did a good job of showing why you shouldn't get married too young and they certainly didn't sugarcoat it but yeah

IMO, I honestly doubt their marriage made a deep influential impact on the audience..there's worse stuff on tv than teens getting married. Even just in OTH, there was Nathan taking speed, teen drinking, Peyton running red lights, Jimmy Edwards roaming the high school with a gun, Dan freaking killing his brother! It just goes with the drama.

I think the show showed Nathan and Haley struggling with their marriage throughout the seasons. Season 2, Haley actually left him and Season 3 was her fighting to make their relationship survive. It wasn't all peaches and cream.

The one thing I could have done without in their storyline was Haley's music/tour. Or they could have developed it better..I felt like that came out of nowhere.

That's true, still wouldn't have done the marriage though. Don't think it helped that Mark had no idea what to do with NH at times as well

The whole tour storyline should have been handled so much better, that's for sure

I can totally understand people not liking NH getting married b/c you just didn't like the storyline. I agree..Mark at times had no idea what he was doing with NH. Season 2 was very weird ..so many random things..like Haley's sis showing up and her flirting with Nathan... Couldn't stand her for the longest.

I do too. I'm a not fan of Season 2 as an whole tbh, it wasn't very good at all
