True. It's sad writers went with that route, because NH's teeny marriage could've been shown in much more realistic and interesting way. There was no need to make Haley a singing superstar.

What annoyed me the most with the tour storyline (besides how unrealistic it was) was that Mark clearly only went with it because of Joy being on tour on RL. What would have you wanted instead?

As silly as the season 2 storyline for them was, it could have been realistic in a wider perspective of Haley leaving Nathan. There are a handful of episodes I really like in season 2 becsuse of the fact that it showed how broken Nathan was without her. It just showed how much he loved her.

Definitely, I probably would have preferred Haley leaving for a while for an an academic scholarship.

they go as they feel with storyline, we might not like it but it's the way they did it and sometimes we just wish they'd done it differently.

i liked the singing part but not the tour part, it was too unrealistic

Imo it would've been more realistic to show NH struggling with money and having jobs while still going to school. Maybe it is just me but I think it would be really hard for two sixteen years olds to live on their own and pay for every expense with their own money and still have time for their dreams. And we know how important practicing basketball was for Nathan and singing was for Haley. That could cause problems between them, when people are put under a lot of stress, romance is often far from their minds and couples do drift apart from each other. In NH case it would've also even more expected since sixteen years olds are still very immature people with tempers that can't really know how to wisely handle every problem that life throws at them.

That's an idea. Also, I think it wouldn't be that weird for Haley to realise that the grown up life is hard and that she misses her parents very much. She could've just leave to be with them.

Imo, realistically Haley shouldn't even have much, if any, time for singing practices with Chris. As for the tour, I can't even express myself how badly I think of this idea.

Yeah that's definitely sounds like an great idea, but it definitely might have been hard to pull off with Joy's schedule. An similar storyline could have worked in S4 though. Haley leaving to be with her parents for a while would have worked as well.

The going on a tour didn't like that at all. Thes econd part of season 2 bugged me
