What I liked was that even though they overcame everything, they never became dull or without story.

Safe to say no one went dull in this show. Writers were always aware of that and I love it.

Yeah, I agree the show was never dull. It was easy to invest in what happened to every character even if you didn't like them so much.

Good example for that...I hate Mouth. I think Lee Norris is annoying, he's ugly, those ears are a danger when driving....but the way they turned his character with Millie and then living with Skills made me really love his character. Now I do!

That's so true. I felt like I wanted to know what was going to happen to every single character and where their journey was going to go.

I guess I'm in minority here but I've found quite a lot of characters and storylines dull.

Mouth and his life being one of them, the only character that was higher than him in my "redundant" list is Chase and his scenes in S8 and S9. I wish I could enjoy everything as much as you guys, because in later seasons the only reason I was still watching OTH was because of NH. So things weren't always so pleasant for me, especially in S8.

Yeah, Mouth is just... ugh. I have to say it's funny how he got more girlfriends than any other guy from OTH... and most of fans still didn't give a crap about his lovelife. From Rivercourt boys I would prefer to see more of Skills, Fergie or Junk, at least they were funny.

I have a theory on why he gets more girls and it has to do with a yellow fruit....but this isn't about him, haha.

I liked Mouth, but sometimes his storylines were boring. I did like him and Millie though and I did like his storyline with Jimmy Edwards.

Anyway though, back to Nathan and Haley.

Lately I've been missing our couple a little bit more than usually I do, but instead of watching OTH for fourth time or so, I decided to reread some of my most favourite NH fanfics. I started with "Sweet Surrender" by ashly815. Has anyone from this thread read it?
