The way they handled was pretty weird, especially when they acted up to the last minute that they weren't leaving the show when everyone and their mother did. Should have just wrote them off like the way LP deserved too.

They knew they were leaving, so they should have given them a better exit, maybe a couple of episodes before Sawyer was born have them start discussing moving to be closer to her dad so he can help them out or something.
