Annoying that they let it have an affect. They really shouldn't have. It made no sense for these characters to lose touch so much, especially seeing as they followed it up with Lucas coming to pick up Haley's kids to stay with him when Nathan was missing - they then decided to ignore the lack of contact between the characters.

Yeah it definitely is annoying, but it showed that Chad and Hil didn't really leave on great terms.

yeah it was a weird end and I was hoping for at least the finale ep to see them all but i get that it's not as easy. it made the relationship for LH weird when he was brought back in S9...
