That's a good point.

They did have chemistry, but I always felt it was more friendship.

They were best friends and that never changed. Even without Lucas on the show, I think they always stayed in touch.

I do agree! They were like siblings so that would have been awkward. Especially since we knew from the start Lucas had a crush on someone.
