Great to see this thread back! I hope to extra a lot this summer before school starts.

Tammy-Can you change my FF s/n in the extras list from RoswellDreamer5 to Creative Christy? I changed my sn awhile ago. I'm #12 in the list.

Angie-If you want to be an extra, you can call them and they have you fill out a form. Then you call them for times when they need extras. Filming probably won't start until mid July though.

Hey Christy! Guess what? I'm going down to Wilmy!! Finally! This time, I REALLY am! Only bad thing is, it's before filming begins again.

We'll be in Myrtle so we're driving up for a day.

I'm trying to go for my birthday weekend, but my dad doesn't wanna spend all that money. They are also having something for Duke Children's Hospital at Dillards on the 7th of Oct. which is 2 days after my birthday. So hopefully I can go then.

I totally want to go to Wilmy, my mom said if I get good grades like straight a's I get to chose our family vacation spot this year, but it has to be somewhere in U.S. so my first thought was Wilmy, since I totally have wanted to go there forever and it would be awesome if I got to be an extra and and plus that's where they film OTH so that's a plus.

Bumping the thread... I'm going to Wilmington Aug23-27 right before my last semester of college starts. I *think* two of my friends from home are coming, but if not, I might be on my own! If anyone has any advice on how to deal with Fincannon, that would be great! I've heard so many stories about how they lose info cards and never know whats going on! And on a side note, how often do you think they need extras in a given week? Are my chances pretty good?

Monica I went to be in extra in March and it was such an awesome experience. I really hope you get to. I'm also hoping to road trip down ther in mid august to do it again. We'll see. Basically, my technique with fincannon was first i sent everything by email height weight age etc and dates when i was going to be available. But don't do that, I found out later from Kelly who runs extras casting that she never gets stuff from email. Best bet is to send your picture weight and dates your avialable to fincannon but like cc it to Kelly. Don't know her last name sry!. Then the week before your going call every few days, to check that they have it or if they need you. Two things I learned...you have a good chance because your coming from out of town just for this, so they'll more easily use you. Also calling a lot helps. Don't get annoying and calling every two seconds but every couple of days, then they'll remember you. It's a toss up if they'll need you it all depends on what their filming that week and they will only know a week before when they get the filming sceudale. I hope this helped it's kind of rambling. PM if you have more questions. I'll try to help. Also, bring lots of different clothes because I made a big mistake of not bring multiple outfits on the day of filming. Luckily it worked out.

Bumping this up because someone was looking for it. Glad I was able to help Monica, it's such a fun experience...I think I'm going to be ther before you becaouse I have college orientation on the 30th if I go it's going to be more like 15,16,17. I hope i can go agian!

AJ- Thanks so much for giving this thread a bump, hun. I was on the hunt for it, since I've heard extras are being used for scenes on Tuesday, etc... I was like wait, wha? Where's the therad... We need to get it back up and going again, now that it's that time. I was back on like page 30, and you had kindly bumped it. Hee. I was never going to find it. LOL. Thank you.
