Absolutely! Apart from when Nathan was being an ass but I prefer to gloss over that part of their relationship - at least it was fiery!

See, I just look at it as Peyton carrying about Nathan even when he was a real jerk. She still cared before he was reformed and that counts for something. Plus, like you said, they were hot in those days.

Everybody makes such a big deal out of Nathan being changed after Peyton but I think that it wasn't anyone who made him that way, he just did it himself. If he'd still been with Peyton, they definitely would have changed together for the better

It was just a matter of time with Nathan. I think he was already on the path to being a better guy when he thought he would get Peyton back in S1. When he was all sweet to her at his dad's party was a great example of that.

Old school NP are the best.

Too bad that's all we have at this point.

And he missed her! I think people forget that when he split from her, he wanted her back - sometimes it'd be nice to imagine them as the fairytale couple of TH, there was so much potential for them

Maybe Mark'll be good to us and we'll get more than one scene in the next season

Exactly. I mean, after they broke up, he was holding the necklace he gave her and probably thinking where he went wrong. And when he walked up to her locker in 1.05 and she told him that it was over, he looked surprised and a little sad.

It would be nice to imagine them as the fairytale and at the end of S2, I thought they might come back and get that chance but, alas, never happened.

I think the big hinderance for them in S5 was that they were on two different sides of the fence. Nate was always going to stand by his brother, and Haley was new BFFs with Lindsay so Nathan it would have been really hard for Nate to be all Team Peyton. But the love was still there. Nobody could tell him off in a hospital like she could.

And it looked like he listened to her as well, it look four months of his sitting around moping, when she's back for a week, he starts to pull himself together. I think he'll always respect & love Peyton because she was definitely his first everything that matters - even though he slept with Taylor befor her, I don't think anyone can dispute that Peyton was the first person he slept with that he was in love with!

But I'm off for a bit, Family Guy has just started

I like to give the illusion of being well-spoken because it makes me look smart.

Peyton was definately a lot of his firsts, especially the first girl who cared about him enough to stick things out with him for as long as she did. She could have just dumped him and never talked to it again. But she fought the good fight for him.
