I think Haley intended to be neutral since she was friends with all parties involved but it was hard to do that after she saw LP kiss. I'm a LP shipper but it was wrong of them to kiss while he was with someone else. It was different in s1--that was intentional and they were teenagers. It was more deliberate in s5 and I didn't like that either. So I didn't think Haley was being too harsh at first, it was just her placing the blame solely on Peyton that I didn't like.

Isn't S1 the only season where did that happen? Haley's behaviour after the kiss wouldn't have bothered me so much if she got out Luke on it too.

She could have been harsher on Luke too definitely. But at least there was that scene in his office where she was clearly pissed off.

I'm personally not the type to immediately yell at my friends/pp in general for cheating, so I can't say I empathize with Haley on how she approaches the situation. But I can sympathize given this clearly bothers her a lot and she reacts in a way that makes sense. She is also not 100% unsympathetic and judgmental.
Never happened. Just like cheap, ridiculous melodrama for the sake of cheap, ridiculous melodrama never did either. It was all carefully written symbolism. Mark's journeys and visions were so compelling.

She definitely was pissed in that scene, but Luke didn't know what she was pissed off at. Peyton deserved what she got, but all she gave Luke was a little slap on the wrist when he was the one in the relationship.

Yes she should have and it kinda annoyed me that no one called him out on his actions in S5 when he was clearly in the wrong.

I don't even remember this LH scene you guys are talking about so can't really comment on it. And if I remember right, she was also having marital problems with Nathan during that whole thing too which could've made her react more harshly than she would've otherwise. And maybe the whole Nathan/Carrie thing had something to do with it. She could've approached Peyton differently about it but then her turn around after 5x12 wouldn't have had the same impact. Not that I agree with it but that may have been the purpose for it. I can't say I wouldn't be upset if I saw my best friend kissing his/her ex while he/she was with someone else. Especially as an adult, you should know better by that age.

^ It's the LH scene in Luke's office in 5.08. My issue isn't that Haley got upset by LP cheating since it was well deserved, it's that she only got upset with Peyton and gave Luke a little slap on the wrist. Hell, he didn't even know that Haley saw him cheating.
