I loved this friendship up until season 4 when Brooke suddenly because Haley's best girlfriend and Peyton basically only got scenes with Lucas and Brooke sometimes. It still bothers me that Haley chose Brooke as Jamie's godmother.

It was seriously awkward in season 5 when Peyton and Brooke showed up to their house and Haley was super excited to see Brooke and basically ignored Peyton. And then it got super judgy when she yelled at Peyton, didn't stand up for her when Lindsey was saying horrible stuff about her, and then told Peyton to get over it and let it go

I would've loved to see how Haley would react if Peyton had told her that about Nathan in season 3 when she came back.

It always seemed to me that Peyton valued her friendship with Haley more than Haley did with her.

They had other cute scenes in season 5 and moreso in season 6 (and she was the catalyst that finally got Lucas's dumbutt to admit he still wanted to be with Peyton).

But it really irked me how they yanked the Peyton/Haley friendship around and did it to prop up Brooke/Haley as the be all end all friendship of the show, which is proved after Peyton/Lucas leave town.
