I just watched 2x07: Let the Reigns go Loose, and Haley said she'd before for Peyton opening at TRIC and of course Haley got to nervous which made Peyton forced to call Chris, and Chris on stage told the crowd they weren't ready for this and of course Peyton and Haley were upset and Chris told her it's better than what she did... since Haley/Peyton were friends after all and that gave Haley the courage to go up there and sing.

That's when Peyton noticed that Chris possibly left the stage just for Haley can get the courage to sing.

I liked them because I think he sort of got Haley out of her shell, and he never really treated her bad... the main thing he did was interfere in her marriage.

Which was more Haley fault than Chris.

Haley should've made things clear right away. Of course Chris always thought he had a chance with how she was acting.

I loved them more in the beginning of their friendship than after.

Seems like after Season 2, the writers sort of stop caring about their relationship.
