I'm a D/J fan of there friendship and relationship but I definitely agree that Lucas and Haley don't remind me of D/J. Like someone said already, just b/c they have the "best friends" thing going on, they or every other "tv friends" will be compared to Dawson and Joey anyway.
I think every "best friend" couple (mainly a boy/girl friendship) is different no matter how many times we've seen it before. Dawson and Joey were special to me, it was a while I shipped for a couple aftre 90210's Brenda and Dylan. Just like it was a while I shipped a couple after DC went off air, that is until Nathan and Haley came along. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] I hope this show is different and doesn't go that "best friend" route. __________________

I thought someone started this after the show was over and was like, "Did I miss the part where Haley and/or Lucas pined for each other and had awkward kisses and one of them cried on a dock while the other rode away with the love of their life? Because if so, I'm very glad I did. Dawson and Joey were the worst.
Lucas and Haley were awesome friends and nothing more, which I loved. A show that actually followed through with a platonic friendship for the whole show. |

I definatly agree with you.
I think Oth is one of the shows, where a friendship just stay a friendship. When you have a look at all the other shows the most of the friends became a couple. I didn't like that. |

exactly. lucas and haley are awesome as friends. I do agree about dawson and joey, but I don't think pacey and joey were a good couple either.
