Some of the characters were so realistic and dealing with every day problems that teenagers would deal with rather than the extremely theatrical problems other teenage soaps had going on. Over the years it has gone a little over the top at times but some of the characters are still too great not to tune in and see what happens to them. I did tune out of the show from time to time but I enjoyed the fast forward storyline and I am loving the current state of the show. Anything else?: As you can probably tell from my username I'm a Brooke/Julian shipper. I used to love Brooke/Lucas but when Julian showed up and became the man that Brooke wanted from Lucas back in high school I fell in love with them. But I mostly ship friendships on shows rather than relationships. I think it's because most of the shows I watch are drama and the couples rarely stay together for very long while the friends continue to bond. | |||
