I wasn't super familiar with any of Jana's work, really. Alex is the first role I'm seeing her in, for the most part, and she's just blowing me away. I really dig the layers she's able to play, and how she can play this type of just... Obnoxious and be so endearing. LOL. Plus, I cannot wait to see the next episode. | Basically, it was this dorky kid who got himself stuff in a block of cement (I know it sounds silly). He had a crush on Jana's character, who was pretty and popular, obvs. And Jana's two guy friends dared him to go lay in this wet cement and he did it to impress Jana, and ended up getting stuck. And it was this big huge deal because so many things would be/could go wrong with the kid, so all these doctors had to help, etc. And Jana and the two friends were waiting, and the two guys didn't really care/think it was a big deal, and Jana was pretending not to care. Then when the guys were busy/sleeping, she asked Callie how he was, and she told her how serious it was and stuff, and that she should go see him, and Jana was saying that her friends would judge her, and Callie ripped her a new one, saying it was obvious that she did like the kid, but was too worried about her friends. So then in the end, when the kid was saved, Jana went in and stood with him, and kissed him (he had told Callie that he had wanted to kiss her his whole life or whatever). | Yay for the opening! I wish she had gotten a more interesting character on FNL. Or a more interesting storyline.
