[Episode Discussion] 8x22 - "This Is My House, This Is My Home" - Season Finale
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES - As Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) prepare to re-open Karen's Café, Nathan (James Lafferty) and Clay (Robert Buckley) hit the road looking for new prospective clients. Meanwhile, Chase (Stephen Colletti) leaves for the Air Force leaving behind a disappointed Alex (Jana Kramer) and Chuck (guest star Michael May), and Mouth (Lee Norris) and Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) begin their new morning show together. Jackson Brundage and Shantel VanSanten also star. The episode was written and directed by Mark Schwahn.




Guys, I would like to remind you that for the moment, we don't know about the future of the show and if OTH is getting a finale 9th season. So I suggest we focus on the episode, appreciate the storylines, and try to focus as if the episode was a season finale. Thanks you

It's so reminiscent of Season 4 of not knowing if the episode was a season or series finale

But we know it's a season finale lol...even though like S4 it was obvs written to serve as a series finale too.

I'm excited to see Haley reopen the cafe and to see NHJL scenes (finally). Plus seeing NH with their daughter in Karen's Cafe really will bring things full circle

as noted above, we're trying to stay away from any talk about Season 9 since we don't know the fate until Thursday. And some talk about SEason 9 can be spoilerish and should only be talked about in the spoiler discussion threads.

season finale or not, it's a finale.

NHJL even if I only saw the stills, lol.

S8 as a whole? DISAPOINTING. Next season they need to STEP it up and Remember that NH are THE heart and main couple and start giving them more scenes and more substance to work with.

NHJL, I want to see them as family and as a couple. This season dropped the ball on that and they ignored NH. Even Brooke got more of a pregnancy storyline in 1 ep then NH have ALL season.

How can they top this episode? I feel like next season could be like how Scrubs went into another season after finding a perfect way to wrap things up. Yikes. What's left, honestly? I mean, Brooke even had the twins. P.S. Gotta love sadist Mark, not even giving her a girl... which you know she and Julian were dying for.

Haven't seen it yet, but I heard the twins' names were Davis and Jude. Do they explain in the episode how they came up with the name "Jude"?

Julian + Dude = Jude

They're hoping he'll be the manly version of his father.
