Conspiracy Theorists (JLs) #64: B/C summer lovin is gonna have them a blast



Welcome to the appreciation thread, started by gottaluvlafferty, for James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Lenz, who as you know, play Nathan Scott and Haley James Scott, the on-screen married couple of One Tree Hill. Chemistry definitely flares on-screen but hey, what about off? There has been speculation that the JLs are dating in real life. Of course both claim to be single but we know how they like to be covert . Plus you never know what goes on behind the camera's...look at Chad and Sophia. So this thread is for those that believe that *something* is going on with these two. Our name "Conspiracy Theorists" was created by Vilandra-N-Kivar Lover aka Whitney and us CTs will continue speculating until these two just admit it already!



The JLs' Fact and Rumors
A collection of evidence to support our theories and/or that gets us started on new ones

1.) In teen people James "wouldn't say if he's single." This is presumeably around the time that he and his girlfriend from Hemet broke up. Sources say she was jealous of Joie. He is now admittedly single. At least from her.
2.) When Joy was on the Menu the thing on the side said: "Bethany is rumored to be dating her One Tree Hill costar (and on screen boyfriend) James Lafferty in real life!"
3.) There are rumors that James broke up with his girlfriend because he liked someone else. If it's true we know who..
4.) Total rumor, we don't know where this came from, I was reading in a web site and they were talking to James and they asked who is he most close to and he said, "Joie, is like my best girl-friend." They were asking if he ever would date her and he said "HELL YEAH, I WOULD DATE HER, WE HANG OUT ALL THE TIME AND HAVE FUN BUT MY GIRLFRIEND GETS IN THE WAY," he said laughing.
5.) James was asking Joie on set what to get for lunch and she answered, "Just get whatever you know what I like!"
6.) Apparently she’s teaching him guitar and said "he's getting pretty good" on TRL.
7.) They’ve been spotted going into van's and/or trailers together, even when they have to change wardrobe's..TWICE!
8.) At TRL it was so obvious, he was pissed he didn’t remember what soap she'd been on and she knew his birthplace like that *Snaps fingers* and they mouthed things to each other and Sophia/Chad looked at James like, "You should've known that!"
9.) They stand next to each other at TRL and for pics and he is always staring at her on TRL. Also, in their second time at TRL she grazed his arm when she didn’t have to. Yeah, TRL is our biggest evidence.
10.) She said in J -14 "I love him to death and think he's awesome" and this after admitting they don’t have much in common,neither do NH, and she said "It's funny we have nothing in common and I’m married to him!" (we need to get the exact quote) So she inverted b/w fiction and reality, but we already know those lines have been crossed.
11.) James stalled before saying "I’m alone." on TRL as if he was thinking "I'm not alone but we're hiding our relationship so don’t say anything."
12.) On the DVD she knows an awful lot about what’s in and not in his house, so we assume she's been there a lot which means they hang out off-set and not just to get lunch. She goes to his house and she was the only one who knew how unfurnished his house was.
13.) Also, on the DVD she says he owes her honey. Heehee that could have so many meanings
14.) When Chad on the DVD says NH got married for the sex he tells her to "defend the character" which means James likes NH. We're pretty sure he's into Joie, too.
15.) Again on the DVD, she mentions how perhaps she may have been crying before taping a scene in TGTPU because her eyes look tired. Everyone comments besides James, who is oddly quiet. Hmm...could the lovely JLs have had a fight? Well, we know they made up.
16.) Again on the DVDs when she says her hair looks good, he laughs the loudest. We know he agrees.
17.) And again on the DVDs, the whole cast support NH and better yet S/H, especially, cheer like crazy when the JLs get all hott and heavy! Could this be because they know whats REALLY going on?
18.) Amber are very lucky SPY reported this "Ok, yesterday during filming Joie was back, now I didnt see her alone we had this outside scene and I look around and I see James and Joie walking around the corner together and I could have sworn that I saw his arm around her. So that made my day right there, but that is not the end, at lunch I got off the van and I saw James and then when I was waiting in line I saw Joie, James was waiting for Joie to get in the van that was soooooo cute!! And then the best part we had a scene and she couldnt do the scene without James she said "I'm sorry I cant do this intimate of a converstation with some one who isnt James" and then becasue I saw her calling someone and to my surprise it was none other than Baby James I heard the convo, and she said "Will you do this for me?" and they did the scene together! it was soooo sweet!"

History/Theory behind the Watch
The reason behind the newfound obsession for THE WATCH came about because Mel (mystic2182) always asked for pictures of it over on James' thread. Coming over to the CT thread, the discussion turned to everyone's love for THE WATCH. It was noticed that James wore it both on-set and off-set... and someone mentioned the possibility that James received it as a gift from his girlfriend Joie... thus a monster was born...
