Brett Claywell/Tim Smith #2 - because we all just want to hug him
 

Brett Claywell is the actor who plays Tim Smith, Nathan's best friend. Though Tim is often Nathan's partner (or sometimes muse) in crime he still has heart. In Crash Into You he showed that by defying what Nathan had wanted and giving Lucas the ball, so he could make the shot. After wards he apologized repeatedly to Nathan and tried to get him to see he did it for the good of the team.

Though Tim often acts like as much of a jerk as Nathan, deep down he just wants to do the right thing and try to be loyal to his best friend. Two goals that often conflict.

- His accent is adorable!
- His smile lights up a room.
- He's a nice and funny guy.
- He's even cuter when he's all tired after a long day of shooting.
- He's got his own Director's Chair!
- Because he has no problem wearing a Cheerleading Uniform!
- He's entertaining during downtime on set!
- Because he's not shy about wearing zebra print bikini briefs on TV!
- He's very personable!
- Everyone who's met him, loves him!
- He still can't get over the fact he has fans.

- He gave the ball to Lucas, even though he knew Nathan would be angry.
- He said Baller!
- He was concerned for Nathan when he passed out.
- He only got $8 at the auction, but we would have paid PLENTY more!
- Two words, "Miss Debra?"
- Because he wore zebra print bikini briefs when he thought he was gonna get lucky with Deb.
- He thinks Haley is cool.
- Because BYOT!
- He helped Lucas break up the fight between Peyton and Nikki.
- Because he didn't know who those people were.
- Because he helped out Haley overcome her party nerves when Nathan was stuck at work.
- Because he likes to wear Haley's perfume.
- Because He's The Tim Man.
