Jump was in 2007, college is 4 years so season 5 should have been 2011, Sawyer was born at the end of season 6, so it should have been 2013 by that point.

When they don't specify the year the logical thing to do is go by the year the show started.

We can't go by our calendar when they jumped 4 years and we obviously didn't.

But you also have to consider that s1 and s2 were the same school year. So what year did they start high school?

But did Haley say what year Lucas wrote the predictions? I really can't remember now. It was mentioned at least twice from memory (in s3 and s6).

It doesn't really matter when they started high school, it matters when they graduated because that's when the time jump was.
