[Episode Discussion] 9x08 - "A Rush Of Blood To The Head"
9x08 - A Rush of Blood To The Head [Last Season] Eighth episode of the last season of the show. BARBARA ALYN WOODS AND ANTWON TANNER GUEST STAR - Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) receives news of a possible tragedy. Dan's (Paul Johansson) search for Nathan (James Lafferty) leads him back to his dark past. Clay (Robert Buckley) has a breakthrough in his treatment. Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) deal with Xavier (guest star Devin McGee). Chase's (Stephen Colletti) concern for Chuck (guest star Michael May) pushes him to his limits. Shantel VanSanten, Jackson Brundage, Lee Norris, Lisa Goldstein and Tyler Hilton also star. The episode was written by Johnny Richardson and directed by Greg Prange Rules: 1. The Scotts and Clay (though Clay’s scenes have been kind of boring from what I’ve seen (though Logan is cute) are the only “new” ongoing storylines that change things up a little IMO. Everything else is either useless (Chase) or repetitive (Brooke/X) or not well developed (Mouth). I guess Chuck’s story is good on paper but I don’t care about Chuck in the last season.
The promo  Joy is owning her scenes. Not since S7 has she been given so much to work with. We are seeing worried Haley, strong Haley, angry Haley (going by the promo), devastated Haley ect. Can’t complain about that. Joy has always been underrated both as an actress and Haley as a character.__________________

^ Yeah, something's wrong with people who are making promo's. Drugs maybe? Anyway, keep taking them guys.
 I'm really happy to see such a big storyline for Haley/Joy, she really deserve this after so many years of having nothing really that big to play (except S7). Though I feel slightly embarassed by saying this, kudos to Mark for using James' absence in a good way. __________________

Hopefully it's not the case. They showed four scenes, right? It's not much, there should be more.
