My BIGGEST complaint about this episode is the Lucas/Anna relationship. I miss my Laley, I don't like Anna anymore!

Thats something that I'm really hating. The friendships in this show are like, no longer existant.

Brooke/Peyton- No way would Brooke be too caught up in her boyfriend of two weeks and a job that she couldn't wonder where the hell peyton went. She didn't see her since she ran out on her in DTMFG and it's unbelievable that she wouldn't call, checkup or even worry about Peyton. Grr.

Lucas/Haley- Either they completely forgot about them, or this is turning out into something bigger. Either way , I hate it. I need my Laley back!

I agree, about the new characters the only one I like is Taylor. I'd trade her in for all the newbies and Keith. (Only if we got sisterly bonding scenes and learn more about Haley.)

Totally agree. I really want to see most of these guest stars go. They are eating up way too much screen time from the original cast.

SO happy to see the return of Dan. OTH is not OTH without Dan. He's deliciously evil!

I also was frustrated by all the friendship scenes between Lucas and Anna. Lucas needs to remember he has a best friend and her name is Haley.

I hope we will get to see more L/H later on since I have a feeling N/H are in for a rocky road and Haley is going to need her friend to lean on. If he can pry hisself away from his brother's side that is.

I have to agree, Taylor is the only new character I like, and unfortantely Lindsay is the one signed on for the least episodes. As long as we get some sisterly bonding, I'd be all for her sticking around.

ITA about the friendships on this show. Honestly, where the hell are they? I cannot believe that Karen called Anna to talk to Lucas before she called Haley. Oh no, wait, she didn't even call Haley! WTF? This whole Lucas+Nathan=Brothers 4Ever thing is getting really old, really quickly.

I miss the girly friendships. I want to see some scenes with Brooke/Haley or Haley/Peyton. I'm sick of Haley only having scenes with Nathan. Does she not have a life or friends of her own?

I hate to say this, and my fellow N/H fans probably won't like it either, but I thought there might be a little foreshadowing there tonight when Lucas said to Keith that sleeping with your brother's wife is just a line that you don't cross. I don't think they will ever really go there, but they may flirt around the edges of it, like the way they played the misdirects in the finale last season, some of those scenes made it look like L/H both had feelings for each other, other than friendly. Of course, they dropped it completely when the season began this year and Mark has said he likes them as friends, but I don't trust The WB. This would be something they would love to sink their teeth into.

This episode was lacking Peyton and Jake and Peyton but at least weknow where they were.

Gotta say..wasnt Peyton the one who went to Anna last time after the kiss? Wasnt Peyton the one who pretty much told Anna that she wanted to be friends still? Anna is more like the one doing the avoiding.


Anyways I really enjoyed the sister bonding we got tonight. I wasnt like Taylor but I am now because we see a new side of her. The way she comforted Haley and then told Chris it was over was a good thing too. I loved the hug too.

Anna and Lucas: god get rid of her! try are trying ti replace Haley it seems. First Anna was used to what? Distract us all from the Brooke/Lucas/Peyton triangle? Replace the two girls? Then shes used to try and come between Brooke and Peyton and now? Now its like shes replacing Haley. I'm sorry but shes useless.

All in all a decent episode. I like Keith and Jules, Dan looked yummy. Andy and Lucas's friendship is great. Kinda scared if someday Lucas may be calling him daddy tho

I most definitely agree with you. The friendships can't be forgotten. They were such a good part of the show last season, and they're being forgot about.

Well ... Lucas/Haley aren't hanging out as much, because they are doing different things, and Haley is married. Everything has changed, and there friendship kind of took a backseat, which stinks, but was inevitable.

I sort of have conflicting feelings about this episode. It was definitely not a stellar eppy - it had some good moments, but too much filler.

First of all - this show NEEDS Jake and Peyton (whether they're alone or together - preferably together). I find these two characters to be the most refreshing - even more so when they're together. If TPTB don't make sure that Bryan's a regular next year...then...I don't know. Bryan just needs to be a regular. Brooke wasn't even in the pilot last season, and JAKE WAS!!! He was there from the very beginning, and I really want to see his character further developed WHILE MAINTAINING his refreshing personality.

DAN! DAN! DAN! His presence is sorely missed (at least by me) whenever he doesn't make an appearance on my television every Tuesday. He's just a great, complex character. I've said it a billion times before - you know that I love the guy. And I have to say that I'm really intrigued by more Lucas/Dan interaction...but I wish that it didn't have so much to do with Keith/Jules because they just really don't interest me.

Now to all of these extras again! Anna, I really don't understand how her presence in Tree Hill is necessary for anything. I have to admit that Daniella's performances have grown by leaps and bounds in comparison to her first appearance, but to me, Anna's just a waste of screentime. Felix - he's okay, but I would rather just completely give up Felix & Anna to focus on our core group. Andy, I do like the actor (Kieren Hutchison), but if his appearance in tonight's eppy served any real purpose, it totally went over my head. TAYLOR - I actually liked by the end of tonight's show. Her talk with Haley on the balcony FINALLY gave us the insight into Haley's thoughts that we have been needing to see for weeks! And it appears that deep at heart, Taylor is honestly concerned with her sister's well-being - as evidenced by her instant message to Chris.

And what happened to our old-school friendships? It appears that Haley hasn't given a second thought to Luke's health. If he just drops dead on the Rivercourt one afternoon, oh well - at least they were friends in 3rd grade. And has Brooke made any effort at all to talk to Peyton since she ran out of her bedroom in DTMFG? Hmmm...if so, we haven't been given any indication of it. She's been too busy going to dinner and staging protests (for a job which she doesn't even hold for a whole eppy) to notice that her best friend has just disappeared.

Was there a point to Brooke's job at the Crab Shack? I missed it. Sophia's too talented to be given such filler material.

So, good points...the scenes were actually long enough tonight so that we were able to really grasp what was going on within them...and the eppy wasn't totally focused on just one character/storyline. The scene with Luke telling Karen that he took the test - INCREDIBLY moving. I love the chemistry between Chad and Moira. They really complement each other's talents well.

The best things OTH has going on right now are: the complicated relationship between Luke and Dan (which is growing more complicated by the second ), and Jake/Peyton. The Jake/Peyton storyline was the ONLY thing last week that really captivated me, and so this week just felt so empty without them. I'm begging TPTB to wise up and make sure that Bryan becomes a regular!

I completely agree! I missed Jake and Peyton! They are the only thing keeping me really really interested in the show. It felt so incomplete! Yes make Bryan a regular I would love to see him every week!
This episode was okay. The Brooke working thing was slightly interesting and cute. Felix and Anna are just kinda there. Poor Keith! He's so happy Things will get interesting with Chris coming back! I really liked Lindsay in the last scene with Haley. Naley looks like it'll be coming to an end soon

Maybe thats the whole point there trying to convey, where Haley is gonna realize, she had a life, and everything before they got married.

Haley is frustrating the hell out of me. Ummm hello, you have a GORGEOUS husband! Why in God's name would you even LOOK at or email another guy? It is beyond me! So PLEASE Haley, stop with the Chris nonsense.
I want Nathan to kick Chris' ass next week! I would really enjoy that!!!!

This whole Keith/Jules thing is just annoying. They are engaged??!! WTF? Didn't they just meet like 2 days ago? hmmmm!

I love love love Dan. He is just the man, who is also very hot! I wonder what is going to happen b/w him and Lucas!

And in conclusion, all the new peeps need to leave immediately. I think Dan should just kill them all off. No one would mind.

P.S. I MISS JAKE!

I just read a bunch of the reviews, and I just wanted to say, while I agree with you that the extras are just filler, they're necessary. It's impossible to believe that as time goes by, these characters only interact with each other. All shows do it. These people have to date outside of their core group of friends, they have to make new friends, new people have to move into town. Seriously, how unrealistic is it to have a group of 5 friends only talk to each other, and only date each other? It's close to impossible.

Tonight was okay. Nothing special. They were severely lacking in the Jake and Peyton department, but this just means Bryan might be there to the end of the season because it doesn't say he's back for eight episodes in a row. Maybe he'll be around for the finale. Let's hope so.

I love the fact that Nathan finally opened up to Haley and told her about his past with Taylor, I didn't like Haley's reaction though, very hypocritical. I also think that Haley really does look up to Taylor, I mean she got a tattoo in the same spot as her. I really loved their scene at end with the hug. So sweet. It was very good of Taylor to tell Chris that, but it just seemed too easy. Hmm....

I didn't really see a point in Brooke's storyline but it was funny to see her in the crab suit. Red is so her color. Felix is creeping me out...I don't like him.

I don't mind the Lucas and Anna friendship but where the hell is Lucas and Haley's friendship? Do they not speak to each other anymore? I loved the part where Lucas was imagining Anna and Peyton kissing. I like Anna better then Felix but they don't really have a purpose on this show. I also agree with who ever said that line where Lucas tells Keith you don't sleep with your brothers wife. I immediately thought of LH. Maybe it is foreshadowing or maybe not.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised Keith popped the question to Jules. He proposed to Karen when they kissed once and she was never really into him. At least this time he got a woman that might feel the same.

And finally Dan, wow, he's evil its hot. Seriously he was looking so good tonight. I love evil Dan, he's gonna make Lucas doing something for him...I know it.

Next week looks awesome! I can't wait. Also I'm hoping for some major Jake and Peyton-ness.
