I keep seeing all these theories about who Lucas chose. I always thought it was Brooke since they've been leading up to it in the past couple of eppys. They just put that one Lucas/Peyton scene in this one, the first one in who knows how long. If Lucas was going over to Brooke's house to ask where Peyton was or tell her about his feelings for Peyton, why have him walk in on Felix and Brooke? Why not just have Lucas knock on the door, Brooke opens it, Lucas stares at her, "Brooke, I have something important I have to confess..." There is still a cliffhanger there, you still have the suspense. So why would they put Felix in the scene if they were just trying to "confuse" us when they could have easily have done that without Lucas walking in on Felix and Brooke kissing. It doesn't look like Lucas has taken any interest at all in Peyton this season, at least Lucas and Brooke have a relationship right now, even if a pretty simple one. I have felt the whole Brooke/Lucas building since the Winter Formal, whereas they put in one Lucas/Peyton scene and one "slipping away" comment and people think it's Peyton Lucas is talking about?? I just thought that Lucas was saying he felt Brooke slipping away after that car scene with Anna, because he was losing his chance with Brooke by being with Anna. Sorry, if I sound rude, but I am a die-hard Jeyton and Brucas fan!!!

This was a great last episode before the hiatus.

Kelsey I don't think you were rude at all, i think you were right.

as an LP fan i wanted to believe he was picking peyton but i don't think it made sense at the time.

however, i cant say it made sense to refer to brooke as slipping away. i guess in the friend sense? but considering he didnt have feelings in season 1 i wanted his feelings in season 2 to come more naturally and it just was way too rushed for me. i mean, they had really nice scenes in the episode before but then now he suddenly has feelings? it should have been building a lot longer and i wish he and brooke had been interacting more.

seeing haley leaving was pretty hard to watch. but i understood why she did it. nathan telling her she couldnt go was a weird way of trying to control her and i know he only did it out of fear of losing her but idk, they WERE married young. its a tough situation.
