I think that scene I mentioned is in The Second Chance. And I remember in ep 302, when the fab four were at the diner, they were saying how good it is that Marissa didn't get arrested and I think Summer said it's a relief that Marissa didn't have to wear one of those orange jumpsuits and Seth was like "I think Marissa would've worn one well" and Marissa gave him kind of a funny look, hee.



It would be cute if Seth was thinking "OMG, Marissa is hugging me"

aww i remember both scenes. they were already friends in the girlfriend and yeah that jumpsuit reference was funny and sweet.

can i ask how you started shipping them? before i discovered online fandom i never even thought of AU couples or that there might be fans out there shipping them. granted i didn't know the term shipping existed either.

Um, well on my first viewing of the show (back when it originally aired), I was more of a casual viewer. I didn't really "ship" any couples, but I did like both Ryan/Marissa and Seth/Marissa. Then the S3 finale aired and I was really shocked that they killed off Marissa. I didn't know they were gonna do that. In the few weeks following that, I rewatched a lot of episodes and that's when I really fell in love with RM and I was kind of obsessed with RM for a while after that. I liked SM during that time too, but I guess I was kind of okay with the fact that they never got together. But then within the last couple of years, my feelings about RM have changed a bit and I started to prefer SM and now I really wish that the writers would've put SM together. I think S2 would've been a good time to do it. Or after S3 if Marissa didn't die and there were a few more seasons. Too late now

i loved that scene. it was so sweet that he asked her for help. i really wish we would've gotten more friendly moments.

Even though we didn't get that many scenes with just the two of them, I always take it that they were really great friends, we just had to kind of assume a lot for ourselves.
