This was and is the one thing to resurrect me back to the board. I had to know what people where thinking. I have seasons one through three all of which I bought before news ever came out about the complete series set. I saw a used copy of season four going for around $30 at Newbury Comics, but opted against. The further I look into it, I think I'd try to save up and get the complete series. It will be nice to have everything in one set. Although I do agree that the set seems more collectible and pretty than it is functional. I'd likely take the disks out to put in protective sleeves and save the packaging separately so it doesn't get roughed up.
Depends what I get for Christmas and can save-up from work. But I'd really like to have this in my collection. ITA, I think it's worth it to sell off the other sets unless you seriously can't part with having both. In an odd way I'll miss the prettiness of the packages and sentimentalities of having the sets and watching them over the years. BTW, I'm curious what people are doing with other shows. Will you hold off buying season sets now knowing completest sets are just around the corner? I finally bought season one of Grey's and want to get the other two seeing I've missed most of those episodes, but a part of me just says hold off, 'you know the complete set will come eventually.' ETA: Last I checked Amazon.com has it for around $125, a huge discount from the list price which most other dealers are charging. __________________

eh. I'm not going to get it.. especially b/c I already have seasons 1-3 and didn't watch season 4. I'm probably going to only keep season 1 anyway and sell the others
