Theresa, I will reply to that post later, I want to get through 401 real quick before I start my busy, busy day! Not sure if I'll even have time for any more episodes today.

"Ryan, you're sleeping and you're talking?"
"It's the Seth/Ryan time that counts."

Seth calling Summer and leaving her messages all the time is a little heartbreaking, but he's holding it together better than usual for someone who's basically lost Summer and Ryan for the time being.

ETA: I typed that before I just saw your reply and that you're watching the rest of the first ep. now.

I agree. Seth is holding it together pretty well. It's gotta be tough for him with Ryan and Summer grieving and shutting him out.

Yeah, there's definitely a good amount of Seth/Ryan time in S4.

There is also a pretty good amount of Ryan/Summer friendship time, which I found adorable.

And the Cohens +1 moments in S4 I think are some of the most precious of the show.

Haha no worries, Naomi. S4 is actually the season I've seen the most and also the first one I owned so I got it covered for the parts you don't remember. ngl, the first time I saw the oc was in s3, which was okay but not great and I wasn't sure I wanted to go back and see the rest of the show, but then I saw s4, which is where I fell in love with Ryan and RT and Ryan/Seth and the Cohens and that's what convinced me to go back and see the entire series, which I ended up adoring--especially Ryan/Seth, Cohens +1, and eventually RM and then RL as well.

What did Kaitlin threaten to tell Julie? (in order to get her boots)

That Neil Roberts is cheating on her with his ex wife.

That scene is touching I feel. He needed it. He's not really doing too well on his own. All he's doing is torturing himself more. Wait, how far into the episode are you?

Seth just took Summer home.

Ryan told Sandy that he'll be coming home.

Oh, wasn't that Ryan/Sandy scene touching? It makes me sad.

It was a good scene. I wonder if he'll actually go home. It feels too soon, but then again he has been gone for five months so I guess it isn't too soon at all. I'm interested to see if he'll really go see Volchok but I don't have time to watch more right now. Talk later!

Talk later.

ETA: Yeah, it's not really too soon to go back. It's been 5 months. Plus, even if he decides to go back to the Cohens, that doesn't mean he's not going to continue to grieve in his own way on his own.

Do you want him to get revenge on Volchok? It is Volchok's fault she died after all.

I watched 402 on a car ride today and I'm in the car again right now. I enjoyed it, but I'm really surprised Ryan let Seth go to Mexico with him. Although part of me wished Seth would butt out, I'm also proud he thought of the plan that he did all on his own. I was surprised that he went to Volchok.

I feel bad for Summer and I hope that she contacts Seth soon and lets him in. That's probably my biggest complaint about the SS relationship. They should rely on each other more, not depend on each other necessarily, but just allow the other person in...

I like what Taylor says to Summer in that episode. I think she was being a really good friend and giving very good advice because she cares about her and wants her and Seth to be happy.

The Volchok revenge thing was interesting to me, but Ryan looked really hot in my opinion defending Marissa's honor... very bad ass too.

I agree on Seth, but I totally understand why Ryan is upset with him.

Seth getting the tattoo was funny.

I think it was touching when Kirsten basically calls Ryan her son.

Yes I liked that Kirsten/Ryan scene in the car. Cute.

I get why Ryan is upset with Seth too, it's okay with me for now.

Ryan looks amazingly hot.

Oh cool. You watching anymore today? There are some touching scenes at the end of 4.03, especially a scene between Ryan and Julie.

It is touching I agree. It's great how they were all there for him.
