All this Taylor stuff is such nonsense and I really dont think Ryan would put up with it. It just seems so out of character for him to even entertain all her antics, which is why I feel like those two wouldnt ever really work together. And then them getting back together when she literally just said she wanted space? So dumb. The end of the season kinda sucked with no mentions of Marissa but at least we got some things in the finale. The summer/Julie scene was nice but I wish they had more scenes together after Marissa's death. But at least Summer gave her the necklace and they talked about her. And of course the Ryan flashback of her is one of my favorite scenes in the episode, just wish it has been longer because it was so freaking short. We didnt even get much of a reaction from Ryan. In general we should have gotten more Marissa. A conversation between the core 3 about her, a conversation with Ryan and Julie, and maybe even one with Kaitlyn and Julie... Seth/Summer were so bad this season, they really didnt seem right for one another. I hated how they were written. They just didnt connect. I was actually glad when Summer decided to go off on her own, I think that was important for her to do, and obviously SS ended up together but wtf, like their entire storyline all season was horrible.

I agree with all of the above

I liked Taylor more in S3.

I made this list to send to an O.C. podcast for their top 5 episodes episode and thought I would share it with you guys

My top 5 episodes (ranked for plot, character development, music): 1. The Rainy Day Woman - my all-time favorite episode of the whole series with the Spider-Man kiss 2. Pilot - one of the best pilots I have ever watched where we get introduced to Ryan, the tragic doomed Ryan/Marissa ship with the iconic "who are you? whoever you want me to be" scene, and one of the best TV bromances Seth/Ryan 3. The Graduates - we get to see the gang graduate from high school in just a beautiful scene 4. The End's Not Here, It's Near - just one of the best series finales I have ever seen in the history of television 5. The Chrismukk-huh? - AU episodes are always fun Some of my other favorites: 1. The Escape - we get to see the potential of the Seth/Summer relationship 2. The Countdown - first time Ryan and Marissa say I love you to one another 3. The O. Sea - love how Seth shows up at the prom and Fix You playing with that scene is perfect, also a cameo with George Lucas! 4. The Ties That Bind - the last few moments of this season finale are way emotional 5. Case of The Franks - we get to see how Sandy and Kirsten first met and we get that amazing speech from Seth to Summer 6. The Best Chrismukkah Ever - our first introduction to the best of both worlds holiday ever, Chrismukkah! 7. The Mallpisode - just a fun episode with the core four in the mall My favorite season is season 2 because we get introduced to Seth's comic book, Atomic County, which I still think is one of the coolest things ever and I wish we could've seen more of it. The cartoon series is one of my fave things ever. I don't really like it but there are some really good scenes which are worth seeing. Especially if you like Ryan's character and his dynamic with Sandy.
