Julie really did keep me entertained through S2. I loved her scenes with Kirsten, they were great - especially when she teased her about Carter. 'You like Carter!' ' Kirsten Cohen crushes Carter!.' Hee.

I totally agree with the title. Julie was consistently good throughout the season. Most of the other characters I like, regressed and annoyed me at some point this season. I just hope that Julie doesn't lose her edge, now that her life is falling into place. I love her unpredictably; just when you think you've got her all figured out, she surprises you. I would hate it if she became too nice.

U know i have to agree with the title. Me and my friend were just talking the other day and we were sicussing how they really seemed to ahve redeemed Julie alot this season...I meani dont think she has TOTALLY changed but it was nice to see the sensitive side of her

Yeah, I love how she's not completely nice or a complete bitch - she's a great mix of the two. I thought her and Jimmy were great in early S2, and you saw a much sweeter side of her - like she'd been hardened by Newport life and lost sight of what was important at the start of S1, but in S2 she realised what was important to her. One of my favourie Julie scenes is early S1 (I can't remember which ep exactly) when Jimmy is watching football reruns and she talks about how she was pregnant with Marissa when the match was played live. There was just something really sweet about it. I think she has a lot of insecurities and it's great how those are mixed with her ruthless bitchiness.
