Once Luke has finished with Julie (and maybe with Kaitlin [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]) he and Marissa can find their way back to each other. I think he was taking her for granted and that's why he was cheating on her.

I love Luke now! He's such a nice guy, his cheating was definitely wrong, but it seems like he's grown up a lot since then. He realized his mistake, even if it was too late.

I also think there's great chemistry between them. Luke and Marissa already have the foundation to build a strong friendship, and when he's done with her mom, then maybe they can be more.

Yeah I definitely think he realized his mistake, and even though he cheated on her I think he still cared about her. He was just a typical horny teenage boy. (which doesn't make it ok or anything) But also, Marissa has a thing with letting new boys come into her relationships and just ruin them. She "loves" Ryan and still Oliver was able to so easily come between them. In The Heights (?) she even told Luke that if she didn't know he had cheated, she'd still love him, but before Ryan had easily but a damper on their relationship. The point I'm trying to make (keyword trying) is that Marissa might still have feelings for him. Or maybe not, I'm not even sure how this post started...

Good point, Mary! It'd be cool if she did still have feelings for him. They were hanging out even when she wasn't talking to Ryan because of Oliver. (And I think it really sucks that unlike Ryan and Seth, Luke doesn't have a "long-term" girl [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] I don't want him to end up like Kyle from Roswell.)
