I was so going to post that. I was telling everyone this at school today but not many peers got it. It's sad. BUT Julie Cooper is definitely the new Mrs. Robinson. I wonder if Vanity Fair or Blender (y'know, whatever magazines do ______ is the new ________) is going to do this as one of their comparisons.

So at the beginning of the show, I didn't like these two characters but I think they might be good for each other.

I think this storyline is hillarious. I love how evil Julie is.. plus she needs a little boytoy action. I get the feeling she likes to be in charge and there is no better way then to be the older one in the relationship.

Anywayz, i've got to admit, i thought this pairing was abo****ely disgusting in the beginning, but who knows they might just grow on me.

Add me to the list! I think the only reason I might like this couple is because they will for sure keep me entertained, and after all that Oliver drama, we can definetly use something light-hearted and hilarious to cheer us up. This is going to be great, and I can't wait!

omg dont remember me, the oliver storyline was so boring. i was thinking about skip watching oc because of the oliver/marissa/ryan drama.

I don't know that I'm a L/J shipper yet, but we'll see where it goes, LOL. Both of them are seriously lacking in the love department, so who knows? It'll be interesting. And I have nothing against Julie getting herself a boytoy...though it does happen to be the guy who not only kissed her daughter, but took her virginity. I had the pairing in the back of my mind since that episode wherein Luke came to catch Marissa and was having breakfast with Julie. Something's just very sweet about them together.

I'm looking forward to these two. I want to see these two interact and I think the actors could really have some fun with a light-hearted comedy.

I read a post that said that this relationship shouldn't happen because it would really bother Marissa. Not that it shouldn't bother her, but since the writers have been portraying her as selfish and clueless, I can't make myself care. It strange how much this show has changed from it's first episode when Marissa was a sympathetic character.

Anyway, bring on Luke and Julie!

I actually like the idea of Luke and Julie. Their 'romance' won't be dramatic like most of the others, it will probably be more lighthearted. And I'm guessing they'll have to sneak around so it will add some comic relief. Plus, they just look good together! Can I be added to the list?
