Well Julie had fully a scene or two about ONLY her wedding. The scene with Summer, and her scenes with Kaitlin, I wouldn't count those as only being about Julie.

Really, only the actual wedding was just Julie and her men issues. The rest was about Kaitlin, and Marissa, and Summer, and Kirsten. It was just relationships, which is the point of the whole show.

I felt like they were trying to put too much comedy into the finale and it ruined the stories of the essential core relationships.

They wanted to make it a cheesy, feel-good, happy ending...Which may please a lot of the fans, but that doesn't mean it's a good finale.

But it's The O.C. They've NEVER been dramatic without comedy. EVER.

Yeah, I've always felt that the show has been more about the comedy than the (melo)drama. Honestly, I would have been upset if the finale was an emofest.

I didnt expect it to be an emofest, but the way they incorporated the comedy was something I didnt like. The whole Bullit thing was not necessary. Instead of showing his entire family of cowboys they could have included more valuable moments to characters who had been with the show from the pilot.

Does anyone know the final song that was played, during SS wedding, Julie's graduation, etc.? Thank you in advanced.

That I can agree with. I didn't like the Frank/Julie/Bullit mess, but I don't think it was necessarily the comedy that ruined it. If anything, it was way melodramatic. Like, all of that for Julie to realize she wants to be independent?

It was "Life is a Song" by Patrick Park.
