I know you weren't asking me for my favorite characters, but just in case we all wanted to share that with each other, my top 4 were:

Oo yeah picking favourite characters is hard, my #1 would be Seth, and then Summer, Ryan and Marissa, not sure in what order...and I dunno about the 5th.

Well he's your #5 out of a lot of characters so obviously you like him, just not as your favorite character.

I relate to Ryan and Sandy more than all the other characters. He was troubled just like me, and he was a really good boyfriend and a good person. He really changed his life around.

I don't like Summer that much (she's not even in my top 7) so we're even.

I like him as a character in this tv show.Not like him personally.I hope you know what I mean?

You mean you like Ryan, but you don't like Ben?

Just curious, why wouldn't you like Ben? Off the screen he seems like such a sweet guy, he's great at interviews, and according to many--he is super nice to his fans. Plus he's educated (degree in Economics and Foreign Affairs), funny, and seems really down to earth. He is one of Adam's really close friends, and I know you love Adam. Ben does tons of charity work too (Adam even admitted that Ben got him into charity work). He's praised by everyone who has worked with him... they say he's modest and hard working. He's rarely ever in the tabloids, he's low key, and he only does projects he believes in (like Southland and Junebug). He's also a good actor.

So yeah... I can see why someone may not like Ryan Atwood, but for the life of me, I can't see why someone wouldn't like Ben McKenzie--the actor and the persona off the screen.

But w/e... we like who we like and everyone will have different opinions so that's cool. I love Ben and you don't. It's all good.

And in my humble opinion, Ryan was the most interesting character on that tv show. In other words, if a character like Ryan--troubled and brooding with a heart of gold--wasn't a character on the show... despite Seth's awesomeness, I would have never given the show a shot because teen dramas are not my thing. The Ryan and Sandy dynamic (adopted father and son) for me was the best part of the series.


I wonder what Chris Carmack is up to btw!!!! I miss him!
