Yeah, Taylor being the one that wrote the poem was an uber shock. But isn't it sweet that he knew, just because of how they felt almost the whole time, that even without that poem (that he thought was part of their history), he still knew their foundation was just beginning and he wanted to spend the rest of it with her?

i kinda couldn't care less about taylor writing that poem i don't think he would fall for taylor if she read it like, i think they could become friends since then, since they were both the 'geeks' or whatever, but i don't think he would fall in love with her. i think he liked and remembered the poem because of summer, not the other way around, that he was like 'omg, the poem is so good, whoever wrote, i'll marry you'

No,no I totally understand! The thing I don't like about is that they had that story from 1.06 and then they changed it and said that Taylor wrote it, that's just weird But I agree with that Seth wouldn't have fallen in love with Taylor, ofcourse he wouldn't! But I mean that wa the start of SS and then they totally changed it, that's what I don't like

yeah, but these writers are experts at rewriting history
but still, i don't think this is too much rewriting. he probably liked her/noticed her before she read it (judging from how he turned around when she was walking down the aisle to the front.. omg, a wedding parallel ignore me ; and also the thing about the squirells) and then he was already so in 'love' with her that he remembered the poem. and i don't think it REALLY matters who wrote it they made too big of a deal out of it imo. it was never said that he fell for her because of that poem. it just made their first kiss happen, so it belongs to their history. i still believe that he remembered the poem because of HER only, so i just don't feel like the first kiss is tainted or anything

I agree, it doesn't matter who wrote it! But Summer was the one read it so yeah I mean it was not like their whole story was based on that poem

I was disappointed to hear that Taylor wrote it, but it's honestly not that big a deal to me. Seth fell in love with Summer before the poem, right? He just happened to remember her poem and recite it to her, leading to their first kiss.
