With a title "Second Chance", i'm going to go not only with Summer/Seth, but maybe with everyone. I mean, we all know last week wasn't good Kandy wise, so maybe its second chances also with Rebecca/Sandy. They did say that she was his first love, so maybe this is their second chance. I really hope it doesn't go that far, I don't want anything messing with my Kandy.

I'm hoping [assuming] the title refers to SS for sure, seeing as how the episode seems to have a lot of scenes with them together. From last week's previews, this week won't be too good Kandy-wise either, what with Rebecca being in Newport, and not dead.

I missed the first 15 minutes due to network problems.

It was okay. A little better than last episode. I think Zach went a bit overboard with the whole comic book idea. This storyline is just a way to get S/S back together. Which is fine by me, but that's the only purpose it serves.

I didn't even see julie in the promo, but I was too busy squeeing at A/M.

This episode was OK, a little disappointed with the demise of R/L. OK a lot disappointed. I was hoping that if Lindsay stuck around, that would mean no R/M. And since we know A/M won't last forever, an R/M reunion is inevitable.

Damn, that sucks.

Sandy was so dumb tonight, why did he try and hide Rebecca? Why couldn't he just be honest?

I loved all of the Summer scenes, especially the one with Marissa. It was cute, we haven't had a S/M scene that cute since...ever.

Anything else? Zach is still boring...Caleb is still an ass...Seth is still annoyingly selfish.

I enjoyed tonights episode! It often felt like the OC I originally came to love.
I don't know how to start so I'll just stick in little points:

Alex + Marissa was great. They actually seem to be the most natural relationship on the show. Rachel Yamagata is my favorite Bait Shop guest to date-- I actually liked the Bait Shop tonight.

Sandy + Kirsten... Sandy you bastard! I'm not supposed to feel guilty when I watch Kandy scenes. I'll be glad when this story arc resolves... Hopefully it will be a happy ending.

The return of Brooding Ryan was actually refreshing, lol. All he did with Caleb was defend himself, and Caleb kept dragging him back for more and escalating the situation. As for Caleb... I don't think he's entirely perfect all of a sudden. He will probably still hate Ryan. Ryan and Kirsten's relationship together is going great. And although Lindsay and Ryan kind of took ANOTHER break, at least they're acknowledging how often it happens and I guess it will ultimately lead to the demise of their relationship.

I like that Seth and Alex came to terms with their relationship... The Seth/Summer scene was awesome... Superhero Summer = YOWZA. Although the posing scene seemed a tad forced, I'm still loving their chemistry. I want to see them do some more interior decorating, hahah. We need some more breath-of-fresh-air scenes like that.

Professor Bloom is one big cliche old man cheeseball.

ZACH! All this time, I've been pegging him as a flat, one-demensional character. Although they kept his appearance to a extreme minimum this episode... I discovered theres more to him that just being a monotone jock-nerd hybrid. Yes, there is much more to Zach than that! Really! He's not just a flat boyfriend. Underneath it that "perfect guy" exterior... he is a really naive moron!
Aha... oh well. At least he's acting as a catalyst for the Seth Summer relationship now.

The preivews for the lesbian kiss were cheesy... here come the ratings! Kirsten shredding the roses = funny.

What I'm still missing: The original four. With the exception of her brief scenes with Summer to keep her tied to the group, Marissa seems to have cut off all relationships with Seth and Ryan. I want some scenes with them hanging out together... and come on, you know they're inevitable.
Also... Julie, you hot bitch, I want you back. I'm looking forward to seeing you next Thursday night.
