My sister has lost her work locker key which is apparently everyone's fault but her own.

She's claiming she put it down and one of us moved it while she was away at the weekend. The place where she put it is right next to a fan that I was using at the weekend, the key was never there.

well the key is her responsibility. she should never just leave it laying around. she should keep it with her , or put it some place safe

Yep, but she won't hear it. Mum asked her why she hadn't put it on her keyring and she got so annoyed.

yeah that would make the most sense. she shouldnt put the blame on others. its her responsibility to keep track of the key
