Not sure @cherylburke will like this photo but it’s my favorite picture of us. It was taken last night after the result, after we changed out of our clothes and took all the glitz out of our faces. It describes how tired we both were, and how much we cared til the bitter end for the craft, the work, the love of dancing. What you guys didn’t see onscreen was the relentless striving for more, for better, for sharper, for challenging ourselves daily. I will always remember this moment. Cheryl, I will always cherish this as one beautiful ride next to a fierce WARRIOR. It is so refreshing and rare to see a human being as passionate for your art as you are. I loved every minute of it and to be totally honest, with that tango, we have already won �� love you and I’m looking forward to be being part of your life for years to come.

I want thank you all for the outpouring of love that I’m receiving every hour of the day, it’s such a beautiful thing to feel like we touched your hearts through art, and that you feel the need to vent on our behalf. VENT AWAY! Keep venting cause last night’s results were not what should have happened. I’m sad to leave one day shy of the finals but I’m ecstatic for having shared with all of you what powerful dancing can actually accomplish. That is the reason why I became an entertainer in the first place, for the freaking JOY and LOVE of it. Life is only a competition with yourself and in my book #teamChernando is the winner of the people who have broken the internet with rage and uproar. LOVE YOU ALL. And to Cheryl Burke, I FREAKING ADORE YOU. From my heart to yours!
