IAN SOMERHALDER MAKES HIS DIRECTORIAL DEBUT — After shutting off her humanity following the death of her mother, Caroline (Candice Accola) gives her friends an unexpected ultimatum. Not knowing how to handle the new Caroline, Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) attempt to intervene sets off a dangerous chain of events, leaving him and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in a race against the clock. DAMON TRAVELS TO THE 1903 PRISON WORLD — With the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Kai (guest star Chris Wood), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) set forth a plan to rescue Damon’s mother Lily (guest star Annie Wersching), who is trapped in the 1903 prison world. Meanwhile, when Caroline's (Candice Accola) plan for Stefan (Paul Wesley) backfires, she is left to pick up the pieces. Elsewhere, back at Whitmore College, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Alaric’s (Matt Davis) attempt to reel Caroline back in doesn’t quite go as planned when they realize they're outmaneuvered. Love the title!

People were saying in the last thread that Enzo was probably going to "help" Caroline with her downward spiral, but it seems like Enzo's storyline is totally tied up with Sarah Salvatore. He isn't even around. Surely they wouldn't have Damon spiral with her? They wouldn't go there, would they? Enzo would be bad enough, but at least they don't have history. But Damon?

I haven't heard anything pointing to that, just that they were trying last episode to "make amends" from Damon's side, without really making amends.

What is the speculation on who the "steamy hookup" is going to be? SC?

The sudden concern from delena shippers that the bonnie/caroline/elena friendship should be cornerstone and that bonnie should have seen them first when she came back to mystic falls is pretty hilarious.

I think no one really has a clue about what's going on and if someone is going to spiral with Caroline at all. I've read the wildest speculation from Caroline being supported by Enzo or Damon or even Stefan. I think I even read Klaus' name somewhere.
This is the thing about those episode descriptions they give us. It is always so vague so it could mean anything and nothing at all at the same time. Of course they do this on purpose, especially now that we are facing a three week hiatus.

Haven't heard about that "steamy hookup". Do you have more news?

Does anyone know if we are going to have another crossover episode with "The Originals"? I fear that Caroline will see Klaus again without her humanity?

I know right. The delena shippers tears were shedding big time yesterday on twitter, it was hilarious. How transparent can they be !?

So far the writers have been pretty adamant on keeping both shows separate, no mentions, no nothing, it's like they totally forgot each other's existence. So I don't think we'll get a crossover anytime soon unless they somehow managed to keep it a secret, which I doubt.

I think it's a possibility that Stefan will be the one to off the deep end seeing that the writers have tried to make it that Caroline is his "support system". Honestly though I have no freaking clue.

Most of the fandom is transparent. Like, I legit used to see convos of shippers begging others shippers to align with them to trend something. SMH.

The title. Can just say, as a Canadian, I had to exercise way too much suspension of disbelief to buy into how Bonnie managed to travel in a car or whatever to all of the provinces she did.

I wonder if Bonnie's grand mother Emily put Lily in the prison word ?was it the Bennett blood
that created the worlds ?.Emily was alive at the time cause I thought she help raise Stefan.
