I don't understand why the writers insist on keeping Elena in this rut. Unless they are going to allow her to move on being a 'doctor' and all.

I've seen speculation on tumblr that he's a car mechanic. I don't know where they got it from though.

I honestly don't know if I would trust anything from Paul. He seems to always joke around, but if he is a mechanic maybe his way of coping is fixing the charred remains of Damon's old car - the only thing worth crying about being dead. That was a nice car!

Why did Damon even do this ... like he wanted to come back but used his favourite car he should have known that nothing can put this one together again after the explosion.

That whole synopsis of season 5 made the show sound way more deep and entertaining than it actually was, and the season 6 one would actually give me hope for the new season....... If I didn't know that this show is already garbage. But clap clap to whoever wrote that and made TVD sound like an interesting and compelling show, they should stick with that guy/girl for their other synopsis.

The Ian/Paul scenes must be a flashback. I don't think Damon would be back by episode 4 or 5.

Either the show sounds amazing and a compelling drama-filled story or it sounds like some crazy fanfiction summary

I'm happy for Ian. I might not be able to stand Damon, but I like Ian enough from his public persona so that's great for him.

So we know JP and Ian are directing this season...wasn't Paul supposed to direct another episode as well?
