Thanks for opening
**** Really loved the latest episode. Kevin sacrificed everything for Randall and it was beautiful. The way he held him in the end was just so amazing. I just wish Kate would get something more than the stupid romance/weight crap. __________________

SKB did a fabulous job as someone in the grips of a full-blown panic attack coming from a chronic anxiety disorder. And I love how far Randall and Kevin have come.
I think Jack and Rebecca were both wrong and both had points. As a non-married person who has run into spouses of people I used to date even casually, lol, my understanding is you always tell your spouse, or they're liable to get upset (I had the wife of a guy I dated for 3 months in high school get upset when she realized at the party of a mutual friend that she didn't know we used to date. Yes, it seemed ridiculous to me, lol, but she was genuinely upset, so I tend to err on the side of "just tell them"). I'm also, as someone who was raised by a single mother, not SUPER sympathetic to wanting to go away for five weeks on a band tour that seems more hobby or personal passion than career? Most parents just don't have that option. My mother didn't get one solo vacation until my brother and I were both in college, lol. She went on business trips, but the longest one was five days and that was a logistical nightmare. On the other hand, Jack really did seem to be overreacting to a guy she dated for a couple months like 20 years ago, and was passive-aggressive in swiping at her about the problems after the fact. HOWEVER, given that we've never SEEN him express to her that he also gave up his dreams and passions to provide for the family, let alone blame it all on her, her return fire was not cool. You choose to have children, you sacrifice for them because they didn't ask to be here. She is not alone in those sacrifices. __________________

I don't get the big deal if the relationship was say a few weeks and nothing serious, but she stated they were together for a few months if I remember correctly and had this just been a one-off meeting I wouldn't see the point in saying "oh yeah I dated that guy a long time ago", but she's been working with this guy and was planning to go away for weeks with him. Rebecca should have told him what was up and not telling him made it into something more than it should have been.
Going away for weeks...I mean I too was raised by a single parent and my mom could never do something like that until we were all out of high school basically. I think having two parents though might be different. I don't really know, but Jack seemed willing to try to make it work before he found out about their past relationship. I don't know if it was just him overestimating and setting himself up for failure if he tried it, but god I hope she doesn't leave now that Jack started drinking again. Jack drinking though is on him. There's no way that after one big fight he would turn to alcohol after years of sobriety. Clearly he's been unhappy for a while and this fight just brought all the tension to the surface. I just hope they are able to reconcile before his passing because that would be terrible. __________________

Well, they pulled the trigger with William I was glad that they didn't draw it out, and very glad he didn't die in the same episode where they revealed where Jack died because that would have been too much. But I will miss William, and the incredibly talented Ron Cephas Jones (who I'm sure we'll see again, but likely not as regularly and not in this incarnation).
Alas, given the promo for next week, and there only being two episodes in the season, it seems Jack almost certainly dies while Rebecca is on tour. __________________

I was really emotional over William it's been the first time in awhile I cried over a TV death. I still wanted him for a few more episodes but yes better than a episode on how Jack died. Sterling definetly deserves a emmy

I don't think they will drag his death into next season. I think we will probably find out the facts next week and probably see how it went down emotionally for everyone in the finale. It's been leading up to it for a while and I think they would show it in the promo if they were going to be revealing how he died.
Honestly I bet next season will be about showing how Rebecca went from losing Jack to marrying Miguel and I'm not looking forward to that. Im definitely curious, but I also don't want to see it . __________________

They're in kind of a pickle there, because the show is one of the consistently successful on television (last night's episode actually had a little bit of a rise in ratings) and it's sold largely on Milo, Mandy, and probably also Sterling (the whole cast is great, and Chrissy and Justin definitely have fanbases, but I'd say those three get the most press). I love Jon Huertas, but this was not sold as the Rebecca and Miguel Show, lol. It did not become successful that way, and I think they're going to be reluctant to back TOO much off of Milo/Jack flashbacks.

I cried so much. I wasn't ready to lose William. I knew it was coming eventually but I just didn't think it would happen now. This show doesn't just tug at the heart strings, it yanks them and twists them into knots.

Oh, I'm sure I'm destined to some very uncomfortable Miguel and Rebecca flashbacks, but I don't think they can sell that as a primary focus/love story over and above Jack. The writers have indicated several times being aware that Miguel is not very popular.
