Welcome to the new and improved Secret Life of the American Teenager spoilers & speculation board!  Because this is a general board, where all the different ships will be posting aside one another, we ask that everyone remembers to be respectful to one another and remember we all have different views and opinions so we might not always agree on things. Sophomore Season Set to Return with 12 New Episodes
Burbank, CA (June 11, 2009) – ABC Family’s hit series The Secret Life of the American Teenager returns with 12 all-new episodes beginning Monday, June 22, (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). The network will air a special “Secret Life” marathon (nine episodes) leading up to the premiere, Monday, June 22, from 11:00 AM ET/PT – 8:00 PM ET/PT.
In the season opener, “The Big One,” Anne is dealing with the surprising news of her own pregnancy, while Amy is slowly adjusting to motherhood and a new life filled with midnight feedings and diaper changes. Meanwhile, Grace and Jack renew their relationship, Ben struggles to find his place with Amy now that Ricky has actively taken on the role of father, and an unexpected tragedy for one of the teens changes everything.
The series cast includes Shailene Woodley, Molly Ringwald, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Ken Baumann, Daren Kagasoff, Francia Raisa, Megan Park and Greg Finley. Alice Hirson, Phillip Anthony-Rodriguez, Paola Turbay, Ben Weber, Allen Evangelista, Amy Rider, Luke Zimmerman and Steve Schirripa also guest star. Special guest stars include Jennifer Coolidge and Josie Bissett. Created and executive produced by Brenda Hampton (“7th Heaven”).

And I think his main focus right now is just trying to be the best dad he can to the kid, regardless of if his relationship with Amy works out. - "[Adrian] gets more involved in Amy and Ricky’s life and the baby’s life, actually, because her and Ricky get a little more serious as far as their relationship. Then Amy is afraid that I’m going to spend so much time with the baby that the baby will consider me a mother and not her," Francia dished to Deadbolt.

- Ricky will interrupt a heated makeout with Adrian to tell her he's sorry for "cheating" on her and doesn't want to cheat on her again, to which she will reply that she's glad, because she doesn't think she can handle him cheating on her again.
Jack/Grace
- Jack will believe that Grace is cheating or has cheated on him this season.
Ben/Adrian
- According to the sides for the episode titled "Mistakes Were Made", Adrian revealed that her and Ben had sex in the back of his car.
Amy
- "I'm in love with my boyfriend, who is not the father of my baby. And the father of my baby, I don't really like him, but there's always that question in the back of my mind: 'He is the father, so could he be my boyfriend someday?' There's a lot of drama [this season], just in the sense that my boyfriend Ben gets very jealous because Ricky's at my house every night taking care of the baby, and Ben thinks maybe something else is going on." - "You'll get to see him change during the second season, and definitely see a true human in him, seeing as he has no respect for anybody or seems to not take any responsibility."
- Ricky and Ben will try to co-father baby John but all doesn't go smoothly: "I think they're going to try. You know, who knows? I think it's inevitable for it to crumble a little bit. It's not going to be perfect but it provides for some interesting television."
- Ricky is living on his own in the new season, working and giving Amy "every dime" he "can give her" to help support his son. He also is over at the Juergen's house a lot, spending time with John.
- TVGuide.com: Which of the three has adjusted to parenting better?
Baumann: I would say, honestly, Ricky. He's starting to re-evaluate himself and be a good guy. That was kind of alluded to in the finale. By no means is it a fixed situation, but he's going to try to be a good dad. He is probably the most responsible in the way that he's been raised to be the most self-sufficient. He's got his major flaws, but he's probably the best out of the three.

- Francia revealed that her parents are back together and they will be moving into a house in which we will be surprised to see who her neighbors. "It’s going to be fun for Adrian, but not so fun for someone else."

- Adrian's Sexual Past: "You learn more of Adrian's backstory about why she's so into the sex and why it's not so dramatic for her like most people," says Francia. "And I know there is more sex involved and a lot more regrets when it comes to sex. Some people lose their virginity in the new season."
- According to a recent interview by Popstar Magazine Online with Francia Raisa, Adrian will have a scene with Ricky "at Ricky's house" where she is holding John and Ricky tells her, "Wow! So there’s just a lot of drama that goes on between all three of us and Amy and I just don’t get along.
