Yeah, it's good that they're fleshing out his character. Until now he's been all about his relationship with Sookie, and when they break up what will he do? If they give him other interests there are more possibilities for Bill storylines once BS are not together anymore.

Bill is just one half of BS at this point. They haven't let him stand alone as a character.

I think we have seen glimpses of Bill standing alone, with his family flashbacks and Lorena, but I am actually excited to see him as a stand alone character when him and Sookie seperate.

They are.

They added a lot of things, because the books are only from Sookie's pov, so they had to add characters and such.

I started watching the show because a friend of mine said it was a good and my Fav soap actress Ashely Jones who play Dephine the waitress who get naked for Sam at then end of 2.3 is guest starring.

I agree with you guys, i would like to see others Bill would interact with, other storylines he would have, away from Sookie.
I do think there is alot more that we don't know about him and i'm intrigued to find out.

Definetley agree. And with the show as compared to the books. We have a great opportunity to really explore him and his background. Really flesh him out.

I want him to have a few things that doesn't have to do with Sookie too, but computers is not on my wishlist

I already think he's way more multidimensional than Charlaine ever wrote him

From a new interview with Raelle Tucker, who writes for the show

First she says that it's gonna hppen, but then she says that they can't garantee it. Make up your mind, woman!

I just think she means theres no guarntees that it's going to be the same. That they will take it to the same level as the books. So maybe a fling but not in love

She's saying they're gonna do ES, then she realizes that if that's a given the fans will stop speculating, so she backtrackes... but it looks like she definitely knows that ES is a couple the fans want to see. Also:
