But if she really loved him, why would she think she was stringing him along? That's what I don't get about your theory. I think it would make more sense if she thought he was into the relationship more than she was.

I hope we get a real discussion - long overdue imo anyway - because they've been together from 3x01 and I'm not a fan, so I wasn't excited and I still didn't get answers to my question why they are even together other than because she is hot and he isn't as douchy as her other boyfriends.

I think it’s because she still wants to be with him, but feels pressured to say it because he did-and she doesn’t want to say it either because she’s not there yet or because of what happened last time, so since Wheaton says that his made-up girl “wasn’t sure how she felt about him” then she thinks it may be better to break it off.

Whether they break up or not, they need to talk. They can’t have them end it or continue without a discussion.

Don't forget the sex! They really sound like the epitome of shallow relationship. Personally I think Leonard just doesn't know what love is because I don't see depth on either end.

Well at least Bill Prady said that they'd approach Nimoy and if he's interested they will build a story for it next season. Interestingly it mentions that they approached him to appear this season and he declined :[.

What I got from it (because either in the article or a comment, I don't remember...it said that since he declined he 'came back to guest star in...') is that he wasn't going to guest star as himself-but now that he 'came back' he may agree...idk.

It just mentioned that many stars don't like to play themselves. It was just a possible reason.

The reason might have been that he didn't want to do TV any more and now that he's got that recurring guest role on Fringe he might have changed his mind. But that's only my interpretation. The article doesn't actually give a definite reason for why he declined.
